Yeah with a flush draw out there and a bunch of straight draws, you have to make the call, especially vs a player who has barely even played before.
It's easy when you aren't in the hand though.

Has he seen Arden Cho play before? Shes just a button clicker, no idea what shes doing. Folding an overpair to someone like her is just straight up bad.
Honest question, how rich is Keating? Dude plays this format like it's Zynga poker or something. Absolutely zero ****s given, such a vibe. If you remove him from the lineup, it's nutpeddling. Tilly stands out as a positive too, talkative and active.
Putting Phil in the nutpeddler category is highly offensive to nutpeddlers everywhere. There needs to be a new category for what Phil's doing now.

My take is that he certainly doesn't care about these stakes. He might just see it as pure advertising and then plays a more reasonable style vs. mega whales and for much higher stakes. Or maybe the games are so good, he doesn't even need to tighten up much there either. Could also just be insanely wealthy independently too. He seems to have great instincts when he wants to play, but often he's just screwing around.
In the hcl stream which played maybe 15-20x bigger he was playing a bit more seriously but still splashing around, i’d say he was playing his B game, on the Big game i’d say he’s playing his F game as in don’t give a F game.
Keating was bored as **** at the Big Game and its comparatively low stakes. he even left early! seemingly shortly after the loose cannon revealed she is married 😀

She would've been on 40k after winning the Q8 vs 65 hand vs. Jen, then would've shown a nice profit after doubling in the 99 v KQ flip vs Arden.
It was kinda enjoyable, but I'm not sure if I'd watch another of these unless the cast was super interesting. Something just seems off about the format, like it's not sure what type of show it wants to be.
Loose Cannon’s lack of a well thought out strategy was brutal to watch. What’s the point of her having a coach if the coach isn’t helping her figure out what she needs to do to win at the end of the show? She got a huge gift from Jen Tilly and couldn’t put it to good use.
ahh the hurt to watch so much. imagine dreaming since you were like 17 to be in this spot and watch someone whos somewhat competent run it twice in multiple spots way out of profit

The cannon was real clueless about strategy. I think the show will be better with a more competent cannon.

I liked Lex’s advice but I hope he would’ve told that to her sooner. What I don’t like is Tilly telling her hand and whatever RIT deal Arden tried to suggest. Not fair to future cannons.

Yeah I was surprised Hellmuth or Lex didn’t speak up when she was asking about running it twice. Might be kind of an uncomfortable spot for them, but it would have been the best thing to do I think.
She's obviously at least pretty good at poker and has lots of professional friends, so I don't understand why it wasn't grilled into her head before the biggest poker opportunity of her life that in this format, even though a 40k pot might be the biggest pot she's ever played, that you just can't ever run it twice there in this format. Or maybe they did and she just got caught up in the moment.
Just looking at the views of the first 4 episodes compared to the views on PokerGo's live streams.
It does seem like people do prefer to watch poker in an edited format.

The cannon's coach was confused as well as to why she kept running it twice, so I don't know why she didn't drill it into cannon's head that you have to gambool it up. Or maybe she did and cannon just forgot in the heat of the moment.

It's when I first started getting into poker that show was airing, I remember qualifying for the show playing the freerolls thinking I was hot **** but then didn't have a video camera to record anything lol
