Ivan Briskin, CEO of PokerOK (official skin of GGNetwork) declared a war against poker stables.
Here are two main posts (combined into one) he left on a russian speaking poker forum gipsyteam. I will link the original thread, overall 101 message has been posted by Ivan before he asked for his account to be blocked.

PokerOK, in turn, is ready to remove limits from players who stop participating in the stables. If these players are found to be continuing to collaborate with the stables, we will take immediate action against these players. I would also like to mention that just recently PokerOK for some reason decided to increase withdrawal fee for Luxon from 1 to 3% while GGnetwork had not idea about it.

After days of reading and trying to comprehend what is happening my conclusions are:
Ivan is a **********, he should be fired. I don't know russian but even with the translations I can feel that he is drunk and maybe under the influence of some magic powder.
If GG wanted to show the world that crackheads are running their skins they succeeded. I don't play for any stable and I don't give a flying **** about them, but there is no logic at all in everything he said.
The fact is: every winning reg is in danger on GG.
The most arrogant casino I have ever seen.
1. There is no responsible gaming department.
2. You cannot block an account even through the support service (they simply ignore) when you write to them about blocking before a certain date, because they do not have such a function in the client so that you can self-exclude.
3. You cannot lower limits or limit deposit limits.

We all know those poker schools doing some shady stuff, online poker is suffering, in the other hand we can list tons of things that we don’t like about GG but one thing we all like juicy games with many rec players in it which GG offers tbh i don’t care about poker schools, if GG starts to target single regs than ill join to protest their actions

Stables promote studying as a group activity, not playing. And so do many coaches. I'm a member of Raiseyouredge discord channel, people discuss hands there, but I really doubt any member of that channel is a predator, hurting "ecology" on GG.
All this story is very shady, considering everything that CEO said. I wrote about it in PokerOk group and was instantly banned by admins lol.

I’m not a big fan of stables but I don’t think you can just ban them. But whatever, if GG is gonna ban them then ok, that’s their policy, but it should at least give notice to the players in advance, give them chance to leave stable.
This is called "shooting yourself in the foot!" It never ends well for the shooter.

GG seems to be good at attracting recs. Protecting them is the next logical step and stables are a big threat, not only to recs but to regulars who play and evolve by themselves without sharing data with others and stuff like that.

I think what many people here don't see is that this is not about potential cheating or abuse.
GG has simply determined that, much like excessive bumhunting in cashgames, stables pooling their knowledge, information and money is too predatory in the MTT world. And they are right.
Many of you here don't seem to remember what PokerStars looked like when they still had HU cash, seating scripts, cartels in HUSNGs and later spins etc. They tried to circumvent it first, tried King of the Hill for cashgames for a while, anonymised HUSNG entries and spins, yet people kept finding ways to exploit these mechanisms to the absolute max.
Now HU is scrapped, midstakes+ cashgames are completely dead and the site is known to be tougher than the rest (even if it might not anymore). They also, admittedly for many reasons, have a tiny player pool now.
Meanwhile, GG is boasting huge numbers, very fishy fields at all stakes and longevity beyond what legacy sites were able to achieve. They even ramp up their rakeback program instead of slashing it, which what Stars had to resort to as a hail mary option.
And there are still many big winners on GG (in MTTs pre-RB, in cash post-RB).
This is a good decision, stables are justifiably furious as they're losing a huge amount of income. But if you want a healthy environment to play in for years to come, this should make you happy.
Couple of HH/note sharing stables on GG continually call ALL my overbet jams on flop (which vs them is now only ever value) - took me a few wtf’s to figure out what was going on initially.
Now it’s just comedy. Guess they don’t all update/synch notes like they are supposed too lol.
