General TV Discussion and Thread for Shows Without A Thread Thread
OOTV doesnt like family comedies much huh? Raising Hope and The Middle are two of the best(possibly the best outside of
Im always excited for more Dexter, no matter how bad the show gets. Its just such a good character imo.
New Blood (minus the terrible ending) was pretty good though, and the prequel that just ended was actually a pleasant suprise with great casting.
Finally knuckled down and watched E1 and E2 of Paradise and I'm intrigued
Just finished Agency. Thankfully didn't remember much from Bureau since saw it ~5 years ago. A few storylines I remembered. I enjoyed it.
Paradise is on the list, but might need to wait a few weeks until it's wrapped up.
Reacher sea3 is off to a reasonable start
Damn The Pitt has to be a top 3 of 2025
The Pitt playing really well as a binge for me.
Dexter was good. Casting was spot on.
Did really push the "Dexter is a good guy" a lot more than previous Dexters.
Quit Paradise. It became a character relationship show and had no interest that
Finished Zero Day. Obvious political motives on production for DiNero. Had potential for prestige level, but didn't have the patience to extend the political message.

The trailer looked decent, but I gave up during the second episode. Since it's a Netflix original, I should have known better than to waste my time.
Paradise is fine. It's a whole bunch of people locked in a mountain and you didn't think there would be a fair amount of character relationships driving the show?
Props for Reacher beta band reference in ep2
What episode did you quit after? Ep5 had an interesting cliffhanger but I havenβt seen ep6 yet. Did it fall off the rails?
I think 3. Don't know that it fell off the rails, it just wasn't what I was interested in.

went in cold, and it could have been a murder/political/end of world/survival show. but it's not
Reacher continues to have genuine surprises and moments of comedy that keep me entertained.

It definitely had a rough getting to know you phase in the 2nd and 3rd, but itβs been really good since. I havenβt seen #6 yet, but after 5, Iβm pretty psyched to see where theyβll go.
A Thousand Blows on Disney +
New boxing drama from the Peaky Blinders creator. Really good first episode, excited for more.
Stephen Graham build like an asbolute tank here
Stephen Graham's great and, yeh, looking stacked for 51yo!
watched first 2 eps of a thousand blows. enjoyed it and look forward to more.
ive watched 4 episodes so far will watch final two tomorrow evening a thousand blows.
so far its ok nothing spectacular, my mate said the last two episodes are the best out of the 6
The most recent Pitt was brutal. Show is so good but damn I didn’t need that.
