General TV Discussion and Thread for Shows Without A Thread Thread
OOTV doesnt like family comedies much huh? Raising Hope and The Middle are two of the best(possibly the best outside of NBC)comedies on tv yet no threads.
Just an observation.
Sherlock has been re-running on one of the PBS stations lately. I'd forgotten how good and fun it was.
If anyone hasn't seen it, it's a really good recasting of the old stories (with some tweaks) to modern times. Any fan of the stories would probably like this quite a bit.
are you watching it exclusively or doing other things on the side?
there's too many characters and subplots and it can't be casually taken in as a result - it wasn't until my 2nd effort at watching it that it began to click and even then it always takes a while before i have any clue who the new characters are
I was watching it exclusively, but after 5-6 hours nothing interesting happened. It felt like a chore after a few episodes. Wonder if I stopped just a bit too early.
The Wire should have had more Batman characters
Paradise is a 7.5 that could have been a 9 if the writers weren't so trigger happy.
S1 could have fit into 2 seasons and been better. But still very enjoyable.
a thousand blows, trailer looks amazing (comes out this week)

so you probably didnt like TOP BOY or the shield?
im the same with anything war related, i couldnt get paid to watch bands of brothers.
A Gentleman in Moscow is great through the five episodes I've seen. Ewan McGregor plays an an aristocrat stripped of his titles and wealth and forced into lifelong house arrest in a Moscow hotel during the Bolshevik Revolution. I'm surprised I've seen no one mention it here.

I mentioned it in passing when it first started but I forgot to finish it. Thanks for the reminder lol
I liked it. Hard to live up to the book though. Ewan McGregor's always great.
Crazy that Severance is arguably better the second time.
Redid S1 before starting S2. What a work of art. So many little subtle things in the background on so many scenes.
Excited for the new White Lotus too.
First 5 minutes of White Lotus S3 and Parker Posey absolutely pops off the screen. What an incredible character...really her whole family shows a lot of potential
Weird seeing Baby Billy being a cantankerous unfunny a-hole though
I feel sorry for you guys that get invested in a show that ends it's season on a cliffhanger then gets canceled. I'll watch White Lotus. I've watched the other seasons. I love shows like that where each season is a new story. Fargo's one of my favorites of all time. True Detective.
Sarah Connor Chronicles did it for me
The OA :(
A show that was an exact opposite is "Heroes". That thing kept getting renewed while I wished it was canceled.
This Sunday on NBC!
Invincible 3 started off pretty hot
