General TV Discussion and Thread for Shows Without A Thread Thread
OOTV doesnt like family comedies much huh? Raising Hope and The Middle are two of the best(possibly the best outside of NBC)comedies on tv yet no threads.
Just an observation.
Decided to check out The Pitt after seeing some of the comments here. Excellent show. I only wish I found out about it a couple months later so I could binge the whole season instead of waiting for more episodes.
watch out we have a viking warrior in here guys
jesus binging this would be cortisol overload for me
It's a standard medical show from a blood point of view. I mean there are some medical shows that show open surgery with organs moving around, etc. I don't need to see all that.
It's funny how the one young kid keeps getting blasted with blood and has to change scrubs multiple times a day. lol
I mean do you only watch rated G TV shows and movies?
The Pitt is so good as it’s so real .
I get stressed listening to my sister-in-law's hospital shift stories, and she is barely ever in A&E.
Don't mind gore, but an hour of constant stressfulness ain't for me!
I enjoyed the first 2 eps of Agency
Saw Bureau long enough ago that I can't really remember it, although I do recognize storylines and similarities.
In a way it feels like a rewatch of Bureau, which is overdue anyways since probably my #1 all-time show.
Watched first episode of The Pitt thanks to this thread. Best medical 1st episode in a while, everything seems to work.
I'm looking forward to Shawn Hatosy coming back for the later episodes, assuming that's the case. It would be strange to cast him for just a few minutes of the first episode.
👍
not sure about fave episode, but favorite scene(and not even close) is when she visits her auntie in prison
it's my favorite scene in any show or movie. i know it won't be to other people. i mean it's a great scene objectively. but it hits me in a personal way
filthy were you in reservation dogs? remember seeing the trailer and thinking it looked good
I can't believe how terrible Night Agent is and yet the wife and I religious bang out an episode a night...lol
I saw a preview for Night Agent and laughed out loud. I never considered watching it.

Pretty down with E1 of Paradise
4 eps in on Paradise and I'm hooked.
Also decided to re-watch The Wire thinking I'd pick up on some things I missed. Never expected to see that in the credits, though - Wallace was a teenage Michael B. Jordan.
I always hear about how good The Wire is, and I've seen some cool clips, but I tried watching it twice and burnt out after 5 or 6 episodes both times. When does it begin to pick up? Might give it another it another go if the answer isn't something like "season 3."

are you watching it exclusively or doing other things on the side?
there's too many characters and subplots and it can't be casually taken in as a result - it wasn't until my 2nd effort at watching it that it began to click and even then it always takes a while before i have any clue who the new characters are

This. The show is way too complex to casually watch.
Best description I ever heard described it as "A visual novel." I agree.
Another reviewer called it "Shakespearean" to which I replied "LOL, Shakespeare never wrote anything that good."
