Gibraltar based, licensed and regulated, 888poker has had a record breaking year thus far with several mile
... So is it legal to keep my account blocked without any reason and to prevent access to my funds? Do I need a solicitor now? ...
So please post the relevant paragraph where it says that 888 is allowed to block accounts permanently for no good reason and keep players funds.
I suggested you read the T&C, as it is the contract between you.
I doubt if it states anywhere that "888 is allowed to block accounts permanently for no good reason and keep players funds", but it does give their Complaints and Disputes procedures, Section 15, that you both have to follow.
You will see that you do not need to spend money on a solicitor at this stage. Hopefully your problem will be resolved amicably and quickly.

"Please note that policies regarding third party software, including HUDs such as PokerTracker and Holdem Manager, have evolved over time. While there was a period when certain tools were permitted, this is no longer the case.
Currently, the use of third-party applications is not allowed on our platforms. To ensure a fair and secure playing environment for all players, we have implemented our own built-in HUD within the poker client, which provides relevant gameplay information without the need for external tools.
As such, any previous permissions regarding third-party HUDs are no longer applicable under our current policy framework.

Was this ever announced to your players who had been playing for maybe years prior with PokerTracker? (PT doesn't appear to have been informed.)
Have other players been banned for using PT, since you decided to disallow it? As you don't tell players why they were banned, they will not have been able to appeal against something they didn't even think could be the reason they were banned.

I haven't played much in more recent times, but decided to put in some decent volume between 14-19th april and get rakeback from highstakes cashgames. But then at the end of the week received an email saying I wasn't eligible for some bonuses. After checking with the chat advisor, it seems my account has been reviewed and won't get any bonuses, including the rakeback I already earned?
(Not sure if connected, but I tried to talk to an advisor at the end of the week because of messages in-game suggesting I was reaching higher rakeback tiers earlier than I expected (ie claiming I had 40% rb after maybe $100-200 rake generated, when I thought it needed $3k rake for that). I wondered if there were different tiers to those published, or an extra promo I was missing - it seemed important to work out. But I never found out because the advisor's english wasn't good enough to help me.)
... what's going on here? Is it connected to problem gambling rules in the UK? (I'm not sure why this would apply to me as a long-term grinder) And I had already done the work to get the bonus, and it was essentially removed retroactively.

I wasn't asking you, personally, for your thoughts, explanations, or answers. I don't think 888pokerSupport_GM works for Reddit, either. I think that you are both the current Representatives of 888Poker on the two forums, and as such you pass questions on to the relevant Departments for their explanations and answers.
To be clear, please pass these important facts and questions to the relevant Departments, and post their explanations and answers here, for the benefit of all of your customers, here. Thank you.
Please also add, with reference to the content of your Rep's posts on Reddit:
When, and by what means, did you tell your customers, many of whom were using third-party HUDs when they were allowed, that your policy had changed?
When, and by what means did you tell PT and HM that your policy had changed? (The PT Rep here appears to have no knowledge that the policy has been changed.)
Where is this major change set out in your current T&Cs? (As you will obviously know, numbers of streamers are still using third-party HUDs on YouTube and elsewhere, apparently with no knowledge that they are not permitted. I think this would imply to most of their viewers that are also your customers that use of third-party HUDs is still permitted.)

That reply is regarding the entire platform and not just for Snap tables. There are several trackers that currently support a HUD on 888 and we have not been notified of any change by 888.

Why 888 promote games from provider which have the 91% RTP ?
It's not a secret that Play'n'Go games are the only ones with such a low RTP at 888. Players are not so dumb. If you return it's RTP to normal 96%, as it was before, people will play much more in Play'N'Go

I do not work for reddit so you need to post your question there and you are asking me a question from 2020 so terms change all the time so I can't answer a question from 6 years ago that may have changed during the 6 years since.

With respect, you are mistaken about the content. Please read the whole of my original post. I am not asking for any information whatsoever about Reddit or your customer.
Yes, your customer forwarded me a post by 888Poker on Reddit that doesn't agree with 888Poker's previous posts in this thread, and it doesn't agree with your current published T&Cs, and I copied it here, but it's 888Poker's policies and actions that I am asking about, because of the obvious confusion that seems to exist between 888Poker's different departments about an extremely important matter.
For instance, if your Security Department is working in the belief that PT is not permitted, (rather than that it is allowed, as stated in your T&Cs), it could very easily lead them to make erroneous bans and confiscations; especially if they do not state why bans have been made, and if they don't allow appeals.
I await 888Poker's considered response to my original post in early course.

I received a personal promotional email from 888poker for the “MVPXLSpring” deposit bonus offer addressed to my real name and my account username.
The email says I’m eligible for:
25% deposit bonus up to $500
XL Spring freeroll ticket
However, when I try to use the promo code in the cashier, I get the message:
“INVALID PROMOTION CODE – You are not eligible to use this promo code.”
Why am I receiving personalized VIP promotional emails if my account is apparently not eligible for the promotion?

I am writing this to express my deep frustration regarding a withdrawal request that has been stuck for over 20 days now.
I currently have a balance of ~$5, 000 in my account, and despite following all the standard procedures, the funds have not been released. I have tried reaching out to support multiple times, but I haven't received a clear explanation or a timeline for when I will receive my money.
20 days is well beyond the acceptable processing time for any reputable poker site. It is very concerning to have such a significant amount of money held up without proper communication.
