I remember considering a memorable, high content landmark type post for my 10k. But then I thought...why suddenly act out of character and change a happy formula
there was this big thing back in the day about what the millionth post on 2p2 was gonna be. some amazing HH breakdown, insane high stakes story, someone on the ledge. it ended up being me saying "babies".
I think I remember baseball's millionth run being scored in the 90s or so? Seems like the highlights (probably edited for excitement) showed some Astros player rounding third and digging hard, because he knew that it was close. At the same time, another player in another game (Red Sox?) was about to score.
I've probably got all of the details wrong. Probably was even another sport, or never actually happened at all.

Not a direct answer to this question but it does increasingly feel like I interact with the same 10-15 posters across multiple forums - OOT, SE, LVL and to a lesser extent H&F…which kind of has its own tiny ecosystem.
I never go into NVV or P&S or PB&G or Strat, so there’s prolly a whole load of equally prolific posters in those places?
