Got an email from the class action people.
Per your request, we have entered a check reissue request in our system. If approved, the check will be mailed at the next regularly scheduled interval and represents your final payment for all Valid Claims you submitted. Please negotiate or cash your check as soon as possible.
"We might send you a new check at some non-specified time. But you should jump on it, once it arrives." I'm not really sure what it would mean to "negotiate" a check.
Sigh. Hopefully, it's progress and some reviewer doesn't come up with more bullshit for me to do.

And the next, and the next, and ...
Last night, dealing at the Legion game. For whatever reason, the table I deal at gets the cautious players; the people who will bet two units into a 40-unit pot; not raise the second nuts because "somebody might have the ace-high flush," that sort of thing.
Last night, a new guy showed up, who is a friend and co-worker of one of the regulars. John sits in, and it's immediately obvious that he is a good player, from the way he handled chips and cards, and bet. Even better, he's a good guy, telling some clever jokes, having a good time.
Right before he's ready to leave, John shoves all-in blind. Not to bully the table, he's genuinely trying to spread some money back into the field. Everyone folds. He shows 42hh, so we have a good laugh about that.
Next hand, he raises to 24 into a seven-chip pot, again announcing he's blind. The table agrees that will be all the action, so effectively an all-in. Gets one call.
Jim shows QTo , John shows 87o. Flop T7T. I make the comment to John that I don't think I can help him.
Of course, running sevens for quads. Sorry, Jim.
Since he couldn't lose it to the players, he cashed back his buy-in and left the rest to be split between the players at the table. Great guy for the game personality-wise, but I think he'd be bored playing against this field.
Any word on whatever became of Larry Legend? He was a pretty big 2p2 deal for awhile there. I always liked him.
Heven't heard from him in a while, but guess he is doing well. I met up with him and Howard Treesong once in Boston, and another time with Larry and OG daryn.
Had a great time at both and the more I think about it I am so up for a Boston SUMMER MEATUP. Lfg.

I was attacked by a four-pack of beer cans at a grocery store today. The damn pack ripped apart as I was pulling it from the top shelf in a cooler. Big ass beer cans everywhere! Outside the cooler. Inside the cooler. Dented all to hell. And of course it was the last reachable pack of that product in the cooler. I really didn't feel like asking an employee for assistance.
Then when I got in my car as I was leaving I noticed my forearm was bruised all to hell. Embarrassment turned to anger in a flash! Negligent sumbitches. Had I not been on a jury in a somewhat similar (but more serious) civil case quite a few years ago, I might have gone back inside pitching a fit.
That's a dismaying amount of mayhem. Mayhaps you can kick back with a nice cold glass of mayonnaise.
Maybe I could cut it with some maple syrup if maybe the tariffs haven't been made effective yet?
