New fast food discussion/review thread
OK OOT, it's been a while since we had a devoted fast food thread around here and I think it's time we had a new one.
In
KFC has 1/2 off chicken sandwiches in the app. Brings em to 3.xx. Will be sampling, that’s a nice deal these days.
Haven’t checked in here for awhile. Been stopping at Chick Fil A almost every weekday for the spicy chicken biscuit, it’s [emoji91] and only 450 calories! I’m a big guy and that with a Medium Coke Zero is my go to breakfast.
It'll add calories but I'm on record as saying the CFA spicy chicken egg and pepperjack cheese biscuit is the single most-delicious item in fast food.
While a bold statement, this carries weight on username alone. I'm in.
I'm a dum-ass. Forgot to mention that deal is only Mondays and Wednesdays.

I think about value constantly at any AYCE, and as a result I eat beyond the point of being comfortably full. The quality was fine, although they skimped on the Blazin' sauce.
ya sushi is the only thing I'd even consider trying an AYCE and I'd have to stay away from rolls.
oh that's not true if a place like boiling crab or hot n juicy had an AYCE crawfish boil I would absolutely destroy that I could suck the brains/guts out of those little suckers heads til I died with a giant smile on my face.
There's an ayce Chinese buffet in Lacey Washington that charges $23 for the weekend buffet.
Great selection, fresh food, but I regret it after every single time after. My appetite took a nose dive once I passed 40 years old, I can do 3-4 small plates at most.
You're paying for the experience and quantity of selections, i tell myself, not the raw volume of food

I did a Rick’s receipt survey so I had Buy any sandwich Get any sandwich (of lesser price) free with that.
Got QPC no ketchup add mac sauce.
And FoF. Should’ve got a double. Regrets I have more than a few. Anyone who tells you they have no regrets is either downright delusional or a complete liar.
Then on a 2nd transaction I used app deal any size drink get any size fries.
I got a fat ****ing Unsweetened Ice Tea Large and a free large fries.
Food was pretty good. Still wish I did Double FoF.
That's how you do it. Yumm!
Fine tune the order next time.
BTW, they rarely look at or even take my receipt these days. I ask for the receipt survey promo, show them the receipt and that's it.

That's some solid valuetown McLovin.
I regularly do the double FoF as it's good value relatively speaking, only about 25% more for an extra patty which is where the bulk of the cost should be. They're always made fresh too as it's not a stock item under the heat lamps. Watch out for mouth scalding though they can be lava. I recommend ordering with extra sauce (no upcharge).
I miss the surf and turf burgers from a few months ago, man those were good with added tartar.
The new TB street chalupas look good. Although, I'm guessing each is only a couple of bites, so the $5.50 price point is a little steep. The steak and chicken are the same price in my area.
Anyone tried them yet?

Local Rick's stop doing the receipt survey thing a couple years ago. For a couple reasons is my guess.
1. Insane minwage laws have raised their costs so much that my usual 2 sammich and medium fries order is nearly 20 bucks! That's with no drink.
2. Their service is so horribly slow that almost every survey says the same thing.
