New fast food discussion/review thread

I asked around about Braum's and evidently this one has fallen off a cliff recently, RIP.

We still have a great Steak n Shake though!

Going through Arkansas in a little bit, so asked some friends with experience in that area about Braum's They indicated it's an ice cream place. Fine, but not worth going out of my way for.

If I come across one, maybe I'll go for a cone or something. Will be back if I do.

One of my local mcd locations charges .25 for any sauce for nuggets with the temporary $5 meal deal going on right now. The other locations don't charge extra. Margins in this thing must be very low if positive at all

You can generally get sauces for free in the condiments section of the app even if you don't order nuggets

Ok it seems that the MCDs in a two hour radius of seattle offer the $5 four-piece deal with mcchicken, but its $6 with a mcdouble.

Meanwhile, for $7 you can get a big mac meal. For me, the choice is obvious. What say you?

While the mcchicken is a fine sandwich, its really just rewards fodder for me at this point. $5 for a small mcchicken meal + nugs doesn't do it for me at all; the mcdouble is... fine, but I rarely order them, as I've said ITT, when the triple cheeseburger is so much better.

Would you rather:

$5 mcchicken deal (w/small drink, fries, and 4pc nugs)
$6 mcdouble deal (w/small drink, fries, and 4pc nugs)
$7 big mac deal (w/med drink and fries)

last time I got McD's, I got 2 double cheeseburgers with big mac sauce and took off one bun from each and slapped together a quadruple bidzmac without all the lettuce and extra bread

None of those. I BOGO the sandwich, buy a $1 drink, free fries (Friday or Angels win)

I don't like big macs so I'd go mcdouble if eating there or McChicken and add cheese at home.

Marks suggestion probably best though.

Do you use a burner phone to redeem additional offers? I can't do a BOGO and a free fries within an hour of each other. If you have a family or something that's kind of hard to replicate

My app doesn't have mac sauce as an option to add to double cheeses. I ain't talking to a human for that nonsense

I stopped getting BOGO's in the app so I use the receipt survey BOGO and talk to a human. This method allows the app offers to still be used. Also my offers reset time is 15 minutes.

1/3 of the time, they give me back the receipt to use again.

The mcdouble and spicy chicken BOGO $1 offer do not fall in the deal category so you can order those and still use a deal or redeem points in your order.

i generally order ahead on apps but I will never order on the chipotle app again. they scam you every time.

I waited 16 minutes for my McDonald's order - $5 McChicken deal, and a daily double plus extras, shown.

Totally worth it. Only place open at 9pm 4th of July. It's a freaking battle zone here, massive smog.
