Clive Davis, the music executive who founded Arista Records and J Records and helped shape the careers of Whitney Houston, Bruce Springsteen, Aretha Franklin, Carlos Santana, Janis Joplin, Alicia Keys, Carrie Underwood and many others, died on Monday at his home in New York City. He was 94.

Did a cursory search for a full list of artists he discovered and propelled to stardom,but haven't found one yet. Would definitely watch a documentary on him if there's one out there.

Victor Willis, the frontman of 1970s disco group Village People, has died at the age of 74, the band's official social media page has announced.

The Texas-born musician was the lead singer and co-writer of the band's biggest hits including YMCA, Go West and In The Navy.
