Seems like Vance actually is a smart guy, or at least very prescient - he knew Trump was America's Hitler even before he was in office.

Ukraine exists now because Zelensky and other Ukrainian patriots have been on the front line fighting for their country, and the world watches with bated breath because anyone with a brain knows that the fight between Russia and Ukraine is a fight between authoritarianism and freedom. People like you who support M4A because white people in Alabama have bad teeth and coal miners in Virginia have cancer from coalmining may just see it as another “forever war” but we are not at all talking about America inserting themselves where they are not wanted.

Ukraines loss would not be Ukraine’s loss alone, so no, Ukraine doesn’t have no leverage. We need Ukraine and Ukrainians to want to keep fighting precisely because we are trying to prevent WW3, not in spite of it.

Your framing of the situation is all wrong. Ukraine IS France and Britain in WW2, and you really are representing the isolationist position here (America First was also their rallying cry, and they also wanted to pair us off with Hitler just like Trump wants to pair us with Putin).

Any world leader that was in Zelensky’s position would be right to be angry. It would be as if FDR called Churchill a warmonger for trying to fight against the Nazis.

I really did not expect much, as I thought that most countries would come out with a soft response based on their own fear of Trump and economic reprisals. But no, Trump is getting hammered, both in the volume and tone.

German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier criticized Trump for his behaviour during the meeting with Zelenskyy at the White House in unusually sharp terms.

Spin that Graham.... Maybe get on FOX and say..... "well that is not the way Hungary and Russia saw it...."

PS. Kudos to FOX for the long interview with Zelensky and for letting him fully answer all the questions.
