Donald J. Trump (For everyone else)
I assume it's still acceptable to have a Trump thread in a Politics forum?
So this is an obvious lie - basically aimed at
Response to the beatdown....
I really did not expect much, as I thought that most countries would come out with a soft response based on their own fear of Trump and economic reprisals. But no, Trump is getting hammered, both in the volume and tone.
German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier criticized Trump for his behaviour during the meeting with Zelenskyy at the White House in unusually sharp terms.
Spin that Graham.... Maybe get on FOX and say..... "well that is not the way Hungary and Russia saw
USA is just a country, enormous influence yes, but still just a country and a % of world influence.
Maybe one day MAGA will get it.
I have no idea but that isn’t the point ….
ya maybe no expiration. once things are said, no second chances. set in stone forever. lock em up and throw away the key. this is the democrat way!
It’s not .
It’s both or not at all .
Meaning it’s irrelevant or untrue what u said .

It's Biden isn't racist and what Vance said 9 years ago is irrelevant,
Or
Biden is racist and Vance called Trump Hitler 9 years ago.
Pick your pony. Happy to go with either. Just like consistency.
I’m definitely curious what fgators and his ilk are getting that makes this a great administration other than vibes. I assume it’s just vibes
I think I see some blue districts in there too fwiw

Any white dude Biden's age is most likely racist to some degree, so we'll go with Vance thinks Trump is the American Hitler, but he's worse because he's a cuck with no integrity which enables and emboldens Trump's behavior.
Ukraine exists now because Zelensky and other Ukrainian patriots have been on the front line fighting for their country, and the world watches with bated breath because anyone with a brain knows that the fight between Russia and Ukraine is a fight between authoritarianism and freedom. People like you who support M4A because white people in Alabama have bad teeth and coal miners in Virginia have cancer from coalmining may just see it as another “forever war” but we are not at all talking about Am
lol
I am not judging (if anyone is into transgender porn more power to them) but that looks very similar to a map of black population per capita. Shrug.
Also, as long as we are on the subject. When did fake incest porn become such a big thing? I admit I missed the memo on that one.
fake incest is no longer in fashion, now it's "free use"
It’s really easy to laugh when it’s not your country being invaded and threatened with annexation. Luckily it looks like EU, even right-wing EU, isn’t as shortsighted as Americans.
Pretty sure he lolled at the trite and embarrassing parallels drawn with WW2.
WW2 isn't the only international conflict that ever happened and you guys should really stop to map everything that happens internationally unto WW2.
Aggressive country leaders aren't necessarily Hitler, and targets of aggression aren't necessarily Churchill UK.
Rather, given the target was an objectively shithole country (horrendous per Capita GDP, horrendous corruption index positioning, massive recent emigration leading to brain drain) that already annihilates all parallels with actually top in the world countries being invaded or attacked.
Otoh the military power of the aggressor should matter when drawing parallels to Hitler. Hitler militaries were the most advanced in the world (or close to it) in the 30s and achieved some at the time unprecedented successes in terms of speed especially.
Putin Russia showed to be exceptionally weak militarily and not even capable of rapidly pulverizing the armed forces of a single shithole country.
It suffered heavy personnel and material losses to secure only small portions of territory, in 3 years.
So it's honestly fully ******ed to draw comparisons to Hitler, given Russia isn't even 1/50 of what Hitler armies were, in relative power term at the time.
Being evil and the aggressor isn't what made Hitler special as a threat.
Evil aggressors are the historical norm everywhere.
What made Hitler special was being evil toward his own citizens (a portion of them) and spectacularly strong and successful militarily (for a time).
That made him an historically exceptional threat to everyone else on his path.
Putin comparatively is a joke. The leader of a kleptocracy with collapsing demographics, the GDP of Spain, and armed forces that can't even annihilate what wasn't a top50 military country.
So no we shouldnt treat him like he was Hitler because it had nothing to do with Hitler
How about Sulla?

The referring to ww2 is I think related with the coming of the agreement to end the war between Russia/ukrayne .
Many similarities are at play .
And obviously Putin Couldnt /shouldn’t be trust at all just on his word to respect that futur agreement.
Meaning the risk of escalation could be even higher like the Munich accord in 1938 .
The Munich Agreement[a] was an agreement reached in Munich on 30 September 1938, by Nazi Germany, the United Kingdom, the French Republic, and Fascist Italy. The agreement provided for the German annexation of part of Czechoslovakia called the Sudetenland, where more than three million people, mainly ethnic Germans, lived
An emergency meeting of the main European powers–not including Czechoslovakia, although their representatives were present in the town, or the Soviet Union, an ally to both France and Czechoslovakia–took place in Munich, Germany, on 29–30 September 1938. An agreement was quickly reached on Hitler's terms, and signed by the leaders of Germany, France, Britain, and Italy. The Czechoslovak mountainous borderland marked a natural border between the Czech state and the Germanic states since the early Middle Ages; it also presented a major natural obstacle to a possible German attack. Strengthened by significant border fortifications, the Sudetenland was of absolute strategic importance to Czechoslovakia.
On 30 September, Czechoslovakia submitted to the combination of military pressure by Germany, Poland, and Hungary, and diplomatic pressure by Britain and France, and agreed to surrender territory to Germany following the Munich terms.
Much of Europe celebrated the Munich Agreement, as they considered it a way to prevent a major war on the continent.[8][9] Adolf Hitler announced that it was his last territorial claim in Northern Europe. Today, the Munich Agreement is widely regarded as a failed act of appeasement, and the term has become "a byword for the futility of appeasing expansionist totalitarian states."
« History never repeats itself but it often rhymes ».

Nice analysis. Too bad you forget that Russia has nukes that Putin has very recently threatened to use as a deterrent against sending troops, effectively I might add. Your analysis is predicated on ignoring that fact, and also ignoring Putin’s unique position as an expansionist state in the 21st century.
Furthermore, the West has a unique opportunity to prevent the ascension of Russia from leveraging the gain of trade routes and natural resources. Imagine being so shortsighted to think that just because at current Russia has the economy of Spain that means that this is an inherent feature of Russia. The Nazi party itself capitalized on the weak economy of Weimar Germany to ascend to power.
Let’s also not forget that these countries were legitimately under siege at the time. France itself had a fully Nazi government that occupied the entirety of France. LUCKILY, Ukraine has been able to stave off such a fate, against all odds and all propagandized predictions. The war that was meant to last 1 month instead lasted 3 years, with incursions into Russia.
Focusing on some particular aspect of the war that’s disanalagous is an extremely pedantic interpretation of what I’m trying to say. Of course there will be certain aspects of the metaphor that doesn’t fit. Why not try to interact to the point instead of dancing around it with historical trivia? The point is that on that day, the US president took the side of the expansionist imperial power that is a global adversary, at the cost of an important ally against that adversary. The fact that someone fighting for their freedom lost their temper in such a situation is exactly what you would expect. His country is on the line and an important ally is spreading the enemy’s propaganda. And here we are acting as if this is some episode of the Apprentice, idly analyzing the tactics as “bad business” instead of understanding the true stakes of the situation. It’s our job to hold our own leader accountable for their folly, not scoff at the perceived gaffe of our imperial vassal not being supplicant enough to the God King Emperor.
“You should be saying thank you!” “Why didn’t you wear a suit!” How insane can the world get to where that’s the takeaway of the right? Not what is best for the free world but how Zelensky didn’t suck up hard enough.
It’s really easy to laugh when it’s not your country being invaded and threatened with annexation. Luckily it looks like EU, even right-wing EU, isn’t as shortsighted as Americans.
i'm on record as supporting ukraine to the full extent
of all the places in the world where i've traveled, ukraine is legitimately my favorite, i love that place and it breaks my heart what is happening there
but your imaginary version of realpolitik is the lol, not the plight of ukraine and my disappointment that we don't give them unwavering support anymore

Personally I can’t get into free use
No emotion, weird conversations during about dinner plans while in cowgirl, for some reason launder folding
Call me a traditionalist

Guys, he's got a point. Ukraine is more analagous to Poland in the 1930s than Great Britain in the 1930s.
Zelenskyy's mistake was not treating meeting the US president as WWE, because almost everything on US commercial TV is just showbiz now.
But he could not do it because he can't perform a show and then sign an agreemeent without security guarantees.
Trump promised a quick peace deal. Where is it? How can he do it if he behaves like this?
