President Donald Trump

I assume it's still acceptable to have a Trump thread in a Politics forum?

So this is an obvious lie - basically aimed at

The company brought in to fix the new algae, on $1.7m no bid-contract, and owned by a major Trump donor - Green Water Solutions 😆

Also:

- convicted for campaign finance violations in 2010
- convicted for bribing a member of Congress in 2001
- is Trump's neighbor and contractor
- donated $350K to Trump's campaigns
- looks like the evil twin of John Candy

Pretty obvious that a no-bid contract of a friend of Trump's getting paid $1.7 million to clean a pool of water is funneling money back to a Trump somewhere, but Gorg derps out about not having the mental bandwidth to keep tabs on the top layer of the corruption onion.

Orange Whip? Orange Whip? Three Orange Whips!

Reuters is reporting that Trump has signed an MoU with the algae.

Quite literally filled the swamp.

Strait of Hormuz closed again, but don't worry Trump's got his priorities straight.
Thank you for your attention to this matter!

Hello I have a question. If the Trump and the Republicans lose the Midterm Elections the house and Senate what happens?
What powers do they lose?

I'm a Canadian so please help me understand what would happen.

If they lose either the house or the senate, it will be much more difficult for them to get what they want out of the reconciliation process. Furthermore, since the majority gains control of congressional and senate committees, the democrats will have the ability to set the agenda in those. You also need a majority in the senate to nominate and appoint judges.

In order for any bills to be passed by the party that doesn’t control the white house without compromise from the other party, they need a veto and filibuster proof majority, which is unlikely to happen. So it is not likely that any major policy could be passed in these circumstances without consensus. However the above is an idea of what types of things a Democratic majority could do. Subpoena people, do investigations, request documents, block judicial appointments, have a stronger negotiating position during reconciliation, etc.

Neverending impeachments > Neverending wars

The funny part is every Trump impeachment was valid. Trump has a good chance of losing the Senate, in which case his ass will be yanked out of office since he will absolutely lose the House.

The good news for you is he'll use the military and ICE to intimidate voters, and a hell of a lot of other stuff to steal the election, so you're in pretty good shape.

But how epic will it be to have:

- retaad gets elected to the highest office
- does amazingly retaaded stuff
- gets impeached twice
- ends his term by trying to steal the election by force
- over 60 court cases indicate no widespread voter fraud
- found guilty of 34 felonies
- adjudicated a rapist in civil court
- best buds with a pedophile
- America decides they want 2.0 because brown people
- America gets what they voted for - a criminal retaad
- gets impeached a third time
- is convicted and the only president to ever be removed from office

It's an amazing read, especially if the last two come to fruition. I'm sure there will be some insane attempts at stealing the next two main elections, but I can only imagine what people will be thinking 200 years from now and how he ever got voted into office a 2nd time.

Actually, it will probably be a discussion about at what point did the American Empire collapse. It was the era of Trump.

You made history, geezey, with your three-time voting for Trump. I guess you're just looking for Revelation. You going to be one of the 144,000 peeps?

Even if the Democrats take the House and the Senate it is very unlikely Trump will be removed from office via impeachment. The House will be able to vote for impeachment (again) with a majority. But the Senate needs 67 votes to impeach. There would possibly be some Republican votes for impeachment as there were last time. But it won't be near 67.

And while Brown people might have been part of the 2024 election, in my opinion it was Biden doing dumb things that allowed Trump to be reelected. Kamala Harris got a lower % of black votes than Biden. Kamala was not popular and if Biden hadn't run again in the primaries I doubt Kamala would have finished even second. She was part of an administration that was part of Covid inflation. And she was not popular in the 2020 primary for President.

Sure, but they all hate him and want him out. They just need their retaarded constituents to be on board and when gas is $5 in Nov...

What dumb things did Biden do that was dumber than what Trump did in his first term?

Everything you said about Kamala is true, but people need to be braindead to not realize that everything currently going on is what was expected if Trump got into office again. I didn't like Kamala, but there is zero chance she would have been worse than Trump is.

Biden lying about being a single term president was pretty bad. Running for a second term was a disastrous move.

What dumb things did Biden do that was dumber than what Trump did in his first term?

I think Biden did a number of great things in his term as President including opening the border which I believe helped lower inflation to levels lower than the other industrial countries. He passed a bill that led to opening a lot of jobs in the US to help move towards clean energy.

But what Biden couldn't do was eliminate inflation early on which people in the US found painful. It wasn't his fault in my opinion. But he never publicly dealt with it.

I think if Biden had not run in the primary the Democrats would have won the presidential election against Trump as I think Kamala wouldn't have been the nominee. But it might have been close because of inflation.

Everything you said about Kamala is true, but people need to be braindead to not realize that everything currently going on is what was expected if Trump got into office again. I didn't like Kamala, but there is zero chance she would have been worse than Trump is.

Nobody could be worse than Trump is. It was just sad that Kamala couldn't beat him in the election. I actually thought she had a shot the day before the election but ironically she did about as well (or badly) as Hillary Clinton did.

C'mon, man. Harris didn't even win the popular vote. Trump was the first non-incumbent GOP candidate to win the popular vote since Bush the Elder in 1988.*

he lied about beheaded and burned alive Jewish children so that the Israel could behead and burn alive and bury alive 100s of thousands of non-Jewish children.

but I guess that wasnt dumb. it was pretty smart and exactly what his handlers told him to do.

The funny part is every Trump impeachment was valid.

The 2020 Trump impeachment trial had only one important objective.

Keeping Bernie Sanders from building a crescendo of roaring crowds leading into the Iowa caucuses. For the three weeks leading up to that pivotal election day, Bernie was stuck sitting on his ass in a bullshit procedure that had no possibility of resulting in any sanction of Trump as it was presided over by a GOP controlled Senate.

Personally, I think Bernie should have called that cynical **** out and roasted Pelosi over her obvious attempt to kneecap his electoral chances with the timing of trial. .

But no ..... the politics of maintaining an image of being against Trump prevailed.

Bernie didn't have the ruthlessness and cunning necessary to become president. When push came to shove, he bent the knee to the Democratic establishment.

Kinda crazy to treat Trump like any other random non incumbent over the past 36 years without mentioning he’s the only one out of the group to have already been president.

What's telling about Democrat's who support vacuous politicians like Kamala Harris who are obsequious to elite big money interests is this ....

They can tell you how awful Donald Trump is (all true), but they can't tell you a single thing that they admire about her.

It's true that zero is greater than a negative number. But that's the essence of the Democratic establishment message. "Hey people .... please support our zero because the other guy is worse".

The trajectory of the world and the country is on a declining spiral. A person who embodies "zero" is not what it takes to arrest the decline. We need an alpha in the model of FDR with the stones to be the force around which people rally to change the trajectory.

Trump is obviously not the one. He's pouring fire on the downward spiral and accelerating the process taking us to the place where the system breaks. The Democratic establishment just lets the spiral go slower, but the end point is the same.

If you wanted to encapsulate Kamala Harris in a single word ..... it would be "inert". She's a nothing.

You can provide a million reasons why I should vote against Donald Trump.

But no reasons why I should vote for Kamala Harris.
