He was President for 4 years already and didn't try doing anything close to this and he's basically said anything and everything at this point so tough to determine what he is serious about acting upon. He said he was gonna turn gaza into a resort area like a month ago and he might say it again.
If anything, the consensus opinion was he would just do what the GOP establishment + his oligarch donors tell him to do on economic policy. This is why the market got caught so flat footed pricing in these actions and S&P peaked at 6150ish in mid Feb.

Few if any of the people who have been deported have been gang members and your brain has the consistency of sea foam. You're not capable of firm beliefs.
The biggest problem with the deportation is the lack of due process. It's blatantly unconstitutional and must be corrected immediately.
Actually I like the fact that there are much less people sneaking into the country. I like this tough stand by Trump. He picked an alpha in Tom Homan to take care of this problem. Why on Earth would we want to spend tax payer money on giving these people due process? This system is now efficient and a big time deterrent to people coming into this country illegally.
As was the plan, the world is lining up to bend the knee to the Don. It's looking like Israel will be providing the model for how to move forward. No nation wants to be caught at the back of the line without a deal.

not 0 given the IEEA (the law Trump relied upon to set his latest tariffs) has wide scope but not infinite and afaik Trump didn't produce any actual emergency to justify worldwide tariffs based on bilateral trade deficits.
iirc some entities (maybe some states?) already sued but it has been a very chaotic and dense week so I don't remember if that happened for real already or is just something that might happen soon

I liquidated as much as I could before the crash. Certainly I wasn't the only person who saw this coming. On Wednesday I'll load it all back in when things start going back up. You don't need a financial degree to understand how things go.

I am Canadian and we are all in on diversifying our economic ties away from the US at the moment. We had a constantly negotiated FTA with you guys that was highly mutually beneficial. We sell our energy to you guys at huge discounts but are rapidly try to diversify now.
Trump single handedly steered us to divest away from the US and separate our interests in our long-term planning.
