British Politics

Been on holiday for a few weeks, surprised to find no general discussion of British politics so though I'd kick one off.

And how exactly would BOIDS, proud supporter of Israel’s genocide of Muslims, know that?

because i married into it

i have a half bengali, one-quater jewish daughter

how mad does that make you

Not mad at all. How mad does it make them when they see you doing celebratory dances when Israel kills some more Muslim babies?

by jalfrezi

Not mad at all

stop lying - you're furious

Also, as a little FYI, Bengalis are not Pakistanis.

Maybe take more of an interest in your family’s heritage.

I agree

Usual suspects at it again eh? I blame the radical left.

Yup look at luciom.
Don’t forget Vance Boelter being a lefty representing all the dangerous violent political actors …
Never the right which luciom convinced us of ….

Friends and former colleagues interviewed by the AP describe Boelter as a devout Christian who attended an evangelical church and went to campaign rallies for President Donald Trump.

He held deeply religious and politically conservative views,
telling a congregation in Africa two years ago that the U.S. was in a “bad place” where most churches didn’t oppose abortion.

Nah luciom, not everyone are like you …

We get it, you want to cover up the fact they behaved in that way, which is kinda the point. You want to cover up the fact that some ethnic group(s) commit a disproportionate amount of horrific crimes, AND that law enforcement and civil servants across your country knew and covered it up for a long while.

I'm afraid that four-year-old Home Office report may be part of the institutional problem.

There seems to be a specific form of bien-pensant white middle-class racism at work here, where Pakistani grooming gangs are deemed untouchable because 'it's their culture'. Which it isn't. How many Pakistanis do any of us know who think noncing

Tbh I was really just slagging off Lucio's absolute determination to seize on anything that he thinks will help propagate his worldview.

No, though East Bengal became East Pakistan before it became Bangladesh.

I’m sure Bengalis just love being called Pakistanis, and vice versa, after going to war over independence.

yes you want to do that even t when events actually confirm my worldview precisely and objectively.

Which btw it isn't about the ethnicity per se being terrible to be clear. It's about having certain proof that the UK allowed in low quality people of those ethnicities. Which is something a country should never do. Not because of the ethnicity. But because of the low quality. Just take in *exclusively* over median people. Filter aggressively, especially if as a rich country which is a magnet for talent you have far more people willing to come than you have room for.

The disastrous, unacceptable policy that determined horrors happen in the UK is NOT to have allowed a lot of asians in . It is to have allowed a lot of low quality human beings in.

Unfortunately at this time the fix is going to be extremely hard. You would need mass repatriations. Not going to happen.

But when 40%+ people of foreign ethnicities live in social housing (while the number of foreigners doing that should be absolutely 0) you know, for a fact, you messed up in something that is crucial and existential for a country

If they killed people to take back those places, why don't they stay the **** there to respect the blood sacrifice of their ancestors? what should we think of someone who spits on the grave of their grandparents leaving a place their grandparents died for, or risked death for?

"majority white men under 30"

Well, yes, and, although several Bangladeshi men were involved in the Newcastle case in 2017, the perpetrators more often seem to be Pakistani, for whatever reason.

Yes, quite, all of which renders BOIDS attempt to cite his Bangladeshi wife as support for his nonsensical posturing about the views of British Pakistanis, about who he quite clearly has no idea at all, risible.

i dont know anything about the views of british pakistanis

this is not the first time you've misread one of my posts recently. stop and take a few breaths next time

Of course racists are not going to make the distinction. But the attempt to suppress the ethnic angle hasn't kept the racists quiet. And as a couple of the survivors have just said on Newsnight, you can't have a prevention strategy if you refuse to identify the offenders or the risk factors. And Lady Casey said she'd read a Rotherham victim's file where the word Pakistani had been literally Tipp-Exed out from any mention of the offenders.

The majority of child sexual abuse gangs are made up of white men under the age of 30, an official paper has said.

And herein lies the problem. Even 20 years on, anyone suggesting that ethnicity might be a factor for rape gangs or indeed anything else is branded racist by the far left.

If she was only concerned about south Asian heritage men and ignored the groups of white men such as those I pisted then I'm not surprised they thought she was just being the usual Yorkshire racist.

When the England and Yorkshire cricket captain tells one of his players, a British South Asian, that he wants fewer of “his type” in the club, you know there’s a big problem in that county and probably much of the North and North West of England, evidenced by the Merseyside racist riots of last summer.

Political point scoring is horrible.

The shadow home secretary, Chris Philp, tells Sky that “hundreds of people in positions of authority over the years deliberately covered this up. I think they are guilty of that criminal offence and frankly should be going to prison.”

He’s probably right. But who was the minister for crime and policing in the last government? He was. Kemi Badenoch was minister for children.

If it can be proven that Badenoch was informed and she deliberatedly acted to cover it up for sure she should be prosecuted.

But what we know for now is that local level people with authority covered it up for sure. How much that was coordinated from the top is still TBD

Just imagine, for a moment, someone even more unctuous and vapid than Emmanuel Macron.

Arise, Sir Keir.

I always found the notion of the South Yorkshire Police being too PC to investigate the grooming for fear of being called racist a bit hard to take.

The idea that South Yorkshire police were "scared of being called racist" was manufactured retroactively to cover up the fact the cops partnered with the Rotherham syndicate to sell drugs stolen from the evidence room and pimp the girls to local businessmen and politicians.

Knowledge of this would also explain the reluctance to go down the full public inquiry route.

It's any excuse not to be bothered with this.

Arise Sir Kier and try to shake off the fleas
