He is referring to our Prime Minister as a Governor, he has said Canada is not a "viable country," and some guy that the 13 Premiers just met with says he "did not agree that Canada would not become the 51st state." Like the US gets to decide that in the end, and Canada needs to know that it will not be their decision. What a slap in the face.

If I was her parents I’d explain that declaring economic warfare on your neighbour and closest ally, repeatedly threatening to take over their country and insisting you are serious when people say that has to be a joke, that this kind of shitty and negatively impactful behaviour is likely to stir major animosity. So when Canadians boo the anthem it has nothing against you as a singer. I think she’ll be ok.

it’s always been sick how the climate denying right attacks her, as if she couldn’t have her own agency and take her own brave actions based on her own genuine feelings. Anything to avoid listening and reflecting to her actual words.

Man again, as mentioned to you recently, GRETA was invited to speak as an important political person *by the EU parliament*, and she spoke about policies and trends that if implemented are utterly devastating for our lives. And we did implement some and we are bleeding because of that, we are suffering, we are losing the economic race.

I am not sure Cordie realizes how insane the policies that got passed are (at the EU level). In a few years (and many countries already implemented that in full or by a lot), all EU countries are mandated to ONLY allow "0 emission" new buildings.

ONLY ZERO EMISSIONS. They cost more than 2x normal, already decently efficient buildings (B class) to build. They are horrible to look at because it's "sealed" buildings, and living in one of them is worse than living in a decent modern building.

It's apocalyptic for housing. It prices the lowest new building at insane amounts, so outside of very expensive areas (where the impact is lower, because land prices are relevant) it basically means no new building is affordable by normal people anymore.

Housing renovation costs exploded because "green policy" subsidized (and mandated) "energy efficiency" so now you pay a lot more and get the work done much later.

Trash collection tariffs increased in insane ways because we can't burn as much as before and we have to pretend we "recycle" even if we know we don't.

And so on, they directly assailed my life at.every turn

Japan been in a deflation crisis for over 30 years buddy …
They had inflation but it wasn’t high enough to counter the deflation force.
They bankrupt in 1989 ….and they just regain all their losses from the stock market like last years , 30+ years later ….

Some of the recent regulations here added $6000 to the cost and do nothing .
Affordable housing is just no longer a reality add in the provincial barriers in BC to bring in a electrician , plumber or gas fitter add to the cost as well
