I didn’t see an immigration thread so I figured I would add one. This problem seems to be worsening everyday of the current admin. Hopefully some of our new elected officials can help with this. Mr. Luttrell is a great start

I didn't say my point about prices was a point about freedom. I said it wasn't normative.

I don't know how dumb he is, but this is about authoritarianism, not intelligence. Republicans (and many Democrats as well) say, and perhaps even believe, that they love freedom, but what they really are talking about is privilege. Speech is not free for everyone. This time he said she should be deported, next time it will be shot.

I don't think we are building up to anything. Mike Collins mentioned deportation only because her comments were about immigration. If her comments had been about guns, then his comment would have been about shooting her.

You have to be able to send them somewhere. To state the obvious, if we send American citizens to some random country, that random country is just going to put them on a plane straight back to the U.S.

Something like 100 US citizens have been deported supposedly by mistake since 2015. Here's an article on one case, the point being Mexico didn't do anything.
