I don't think any of those three things you've just mentioned are illegal on their own, so no worries.

I'm cutting everyone here a lot of slack because I know this is all very upsetting and scary to you, but we're not on a path the Nazi Germany here. It's just a significant shift from the status quo, which hasn't gone well.

We have likely millions of known criminals to round up before ICE runs out of things to do and has to scour the streets for illegal grandmothers who have been here for decades. The immigration lawyers should pivot to working with people seeking legal status through proper channels. The social "scientists" are probably too far gone, so I won't comment there. If they're unable to find topics other than gender studies, I hear there are a lot of farmers about to be short on help. Go study strawberries, but just make sure most of them find their way to a packing facility.

DEI consultants are about as useful to society as your average Indian scammer and can piss off for all I care. Go be racist and sexist on your own dime. No more free government lunch.

i dated an immigration lawyer briefly when i was living in maine

she talked about her work a lot because she was very passionate about it - which is probably why people get drawn into that field

as far as she was concerned, anyone and everyone should be allowed into the country and while it never came up, i could definitely envision her bending the rules and feeling like it was a moral imperative where the ends justify the means type situation

didn't date long enough to ask "so have you done anything illegal or grey area in order to get the job done?" but texted her today and ask how things are going as we're still in touch and get along well and she says everything sucks and there's a lot of anxiety around the office over what kind of new hoops they'll have to jump through

What happened here is the economy here couldn’t handle so much immigration in a spend of 2-3 years .
When gdp per capita goes down it means people gets poorer , those that actually are Canadians pays for it …

When you have immigration and gdp per capita goes up it’s all good , it ment we needed it .

Maybe Canadian should accept 25% immigration rate yearly and see our gdp per capita tanking 50%+ because u know becoming a third world country ourselves is what we should strive for .
