To reiterate some of the points:

2. Racist posts and other bigoted statements that target a particular group or individuals of such groups with derogatory comments are not allowed. This should not need further explanation.
3. Graphic Images need to be in spoilers with a trigger warning.
4. Wishing Harm on other posters will result in an immediate timeout.
5. Genocidal statements such as "Kill 'em all" etc, are no longer permissible in the thread.
If anyone has any questions about the above, please PM me. I don't want a discussion about the rules to derail the content of this thread. If anything needs clarifying, I will do that in this thread.

so you are calling flying war planes over a funeral "defensive"? ofc this was an offensive maneuver. it was meant to terrorize and annoy people and as a show of strength. it was clear belligerence.

Not every military operation is either defensive or offensive. In fact, most don’t fall into those categories. Most of the time we gather intel. Most of what we do falls in that line.
There are more reasons for such operations, but I cant really share.

First off, Vivian Silver wasn't involved in this, as she was murdered by Palestinians (maybe Hamas, maybe not) over a year ago. And I am 100% certain if she was alive, she wouldn't have been involved in this, or approved of it.
And your dehumanization and accusations dont match reality at all.
Would it have been better if the IDF had found out who the people were, put their pictures on their bodies, returned them with a bunch of propaganda materials mocking them, and then thrown a party with music and dancing to mock them? Like Hamas did when they returned bodies?
People die in war, and bodies are returned. Guess what. The side that mocks and does humiliation rituals, and then doesn't even deliver the right body, is objectively worse than the side that doesn't.
That is reality. What goes in in between your ears is not reality.

There are widespread accusations of torture & abuse at this facility. People who worked there came out as whistleblowers and attested to the systemic abuse and torture happening. Iirc some 35? people have died in this facility in the last 16 months. May I remind you that this is one case and there are many other since released hostages who have claimed to have been sexually abused at this hell hole. Where are those “judicial” cases?

I quoted the parts of the ceasefire Israel violated. I quoted the IDF Defense Minister admitting to violating them. then you when into a frothy rage and finally admitted yourself they violated it.
