So in light of the fact that Israel has absolutely zero imperial possessions outside the tiny sliver of land it controls that is the size of a small US state, it seems your analogy comparing it to a similarly sized 19th-20th century European colonial power (say like Belgium) isn't a very good one.

How could a smol bean country backed by the most powerful military in human history colonize a big nasty country like Palestine? It makes no sense if you're incredibly stupid.

When you are arguing a country the size of New Jersey is an imperial power colonizing an adjacent land area the size of a small US city, maybe the terms being used are not the correct ones. Words have meanings.

At least argue Israel/Palestine is an Apartheid state. That makes some rhetorical sense at least.

colonizing land is written in their charter or constitution or whatever. they explicitly say that Israel needs to expand settlements. they steal land every day in 3 different countries. just bc they arent doing it fast enough for you does not mean that its not colonizing.

Name one historical example of a smaller nation colonizing a much larger territory, I bet you totally can't.

Ironically, you could actually call what Israel is doing in Syria right now Imperialism.

They are directly taking sides in sectarian conflicts in a foreign (failed) nation; similar to how russia, US, Turkey and Iran regularly operate in the region.

The problem of course is none of you guys have anything bad to say about the nations or their action, except US of course. And even with the US the fault ultimately lays in Jewish lobbyists in your worldview.

No Jews, no news.

I like the 3 stooges act Victor, Jalfrezi and Trolly have going on

todays edition of lying or cant read...

Britain and India.

Britain and India.

OK I bet you can't name three more.

Maybe on the safe he has to name 17 more. And he cant use Spain, Portugal, Italy or Greece.

No one can really figure out why Israel is getting involved in Syria. It is quite possibly that Netanyahu is telling the truth and he did it because some Druze leaders in Israel asked him to.

There is really no super compelling strategic or tactical reason otherwise.

What happens to Netanyahu if there's a period of of political normalness in Israeli?

He goes to trial is my understanding.

It's not possible to have any period of normalness long enough for anything to happen to him in a country as dysfunctional and founded on the tenets of entitlement, superiority and genocide as Israel.

I wonder by what metrics Israel could be considered dysfunctional when compared to the other nations in the Middle East. That’s like trying to call a Nobel laureate dysfunctional in comparison to a crack addict.

Not totally far fetched for Jalfrezi, but it’s certainly a moronic opinion.

I forgot that in Jalfrezi’s world view, the West is bad and dysfunctional while authoritarian states where the general population are destitute and oppressed are functional. Now it makes more sense. The only thing that doesn’t make sense is why people like Victor, Jalfrzi and Trolly still live in “the West” suckling on it’s poisoned teat instead of moving to a highly functional state, maybe like Iran or Russia. Who knows?

I wouldnt classify Israel as dysfuntional. their intent and purpose is to murder as many children as possible and they function very well at doing that.

What purpose do the 2 million Palestinians living in Israel serve? Slave labour? Why not kill them and import more Thai workers? Is Israel just fattening them up for the eventual slaughter? Seems a bit inefficient.

Cuz ultimately deep down they like and appreciate the freedom they have in the west to exercise their right to freedom of speech. They know they'd never have the freedom to criticise Papa Putin or the Iranian regime if they lived there.

over half of the Israeli Jews want to kick them all out. if this keeps up they will slaughter them all, dont worry.

An american and a russian meet in the 80s, and they start discussing Reagan. The american at some point tells the russian that deep down the big difference between their 2 countries is that he can criticize Reagan in his country, while the Russian can't do the same.

The russian looks at the american in quite a puzzled way and answers "what do you mean? we can and do criticize Reagan all the times as well in Russia!".

Equivalent of "black friends". You can't call us an apartheid ethnostate - look at our Arabic people!

In fairness Israel would probably prefer they left. The problem is that Israel is a nation of laws and they cant make them leave. And Arabs in Israel generally live better lives with privileges, liberties and economic opportunities than anywhere else in the Arab world, so the Arabs dont really want to leave.

During recent prisoner for hostage exchanges Israel tried to offer Israeli born terrorists in the exchanges, and the prisoners actually legally fought not to go. They preferred life in Israeli jails compared to living under Hamas.

This is juxtaposed to the Jewish diaspora throughout the Middle East which was pretty much run out of every country with varying degrees of force and coercion.

Lol you really believe anything

Maybe they didn't fancy swapping israeli jails for being Israeli targets
