Israel doesn't claim Gaza, so claiming the waters off Gaza is not really legal. And Palestine is recognised as a state by a number of countries (despite having no coherent government or established territory and borders) and is an observer nation at the UN.
Not even the crazyheads in the Israeli cabinet are that crazy.
The bottom line is Greta and her acting troupe aren’t going to make it anywhere near Gaza and they aren’t going to be allowed to deliver supplies to Hamas. If she wants to provide aid she can do so through the proper channels. All she is doing is drawing attention to herself and wasting resources. Which, to be fair, is completely her MO and desired outcome.

paradoxically i won't oppose that kind of behaviour given the UN are a terrorist-enabling organization that should be fully dismantled. I feel sorry for the few non-leftist civilians working there but you should really work for terrorist-enabling organizations anyway, maybe others understand that and quit.
I think developments like this (Houthis firing missiles into Israel nonstop then attacking the UN after Israel retaliated) are the main reason Arab and Muslim countries are deathly afraid of admitting Palestinian refugees into their borders. Not wanting to facilitate ethnic cleansing is just a low effort excuse they roll out to appease the dumbest populations.

the issue with being a communist is that when you deny basic biological reality, to clarify the need for a social hierachy to exist and the fact that people are greedy, you cannot build any working society. That’s the endgame for them though. They’re hoping the Israelis will accidentally injure someone or misfire a drone and then it’s all over the headlines. Actually delivering aid is barely a concern or goal for the aid flotilla.
So Hamas just confirmed Mohammed Sinwar’s death months after the fact. If you’re not ******ed, it should make you wonder how they can report exact numbers of women and children killed before the dust even settles from an air strike but it took them months to confirm the death of their top military commander.

That’s the whole problem. And that is why it’s a big lie when the Israeli government claims to be a democracy, claims to be humanitarian. They’re not like the USA. They’re not like western countries. They deny gaza statehood not only this but the citizens of Gaza have less rights and our second class citizens compared to those of Israel. Palestinians around the world are also not allowed to immigrate back to Gaza Or to Israel. Yet Jews anywhere in the world can immigrate to Israel anytime they want.
So therefore people who defend Netanyahu lose all of the rights to claim to be a democracy, to be humanitarian to be the good guys when they make the arguments that they do. And that’s their right, but the whole world is going to react to it.
It’s a big difference. Could you imagine for a moment if you had people in Pennsylvania who had more rights than those in New York.
