"Word" is not a data type, at least, not the sort of data type you are thinking of. All text is strings, there is obviously just different logic for some banned strings, which allows them through when not delimited by spaces or punctuation on both sides.

It's not so much the content, it was the argument the content was used to support. He was banned for attempting to perpetuate the racist idea that Palestinians don't care about their children and only have children to support a holy war against their betters, the chose Jewish children of light aka Zionists.

Well I don't doubt that, but when Mets is posting that article from Daily Kos what he is effectively saying is that "look, this stuff is so standard and a part of the discourse that even left-leaning Daily Kos has a piece on it". Browser should have been able to understand that regardless of Mets' lack of tact.

I mean I understand the basic operating system liberals are working from. They believe whites/Jews are operating from a position of power and privilege and should be held to a higher moral standard. The only problem is at some point you should actually look at the results you are getting and see if the system is working.

I would say the last 80 years of infantilization of Palestinians and more generally allowing bad faith tribal behavior from Arabs/Muslims while holding whites/Jews to higher standards is in fact not working at all. Holding Israeli's to impossibly high moral standards is just creating bitterness, and infantilizing and allowing bad faith behavior from Palestinians is just encouraging more of the same.
