[extracted] New(?) 9-11 stuff
KSM got a plea deal. The guy who supposedly masterminded the 9/11 attacks is not getting the death penalty.
If you still
It used to be called the JREF forum (James Randi Educational Foundation). It moved to another host years later, but most of those discussions happened when it was the JREF Forum. It was a great hub for conspiracy theorists to show up to and challenge actual qualified experts. It was a good time.
I see. So the experts are the ones making casual jokes about people with mental health problems. I mean that was all I could see at a glance, a cess pit.

I participated in those threads over a decade ago, simpleton.
No, they are the ones destroying all of her arguments in those threads and making a living with their engineering degrees.
I see. Are you one of the experts or the conspiracy nuts? I am guessing the latter.
So they all have a copy of her book? They would need one to "destroy" the arguments.

Which book are you referencing when you are arguing against the Earth being round? Can you show me a picture of your copy?
I like how billy is so offended at the space lasers thing, but Judy Wood wrote a whole paper called "The Star Wars Weapon."The paper is, of course, total nonsense, as you can discover for yourself here:https://journalof911studies.com/letters/...It's certainly no mystery where the "space lasers" ph
Star wars was a US defence project.
"Scientific critique". My guess is that... it isn't.
"Physics". Oh boy. This is not going to end well for the gorgo.
Has gorgo actually read anything by Judy Wood or does he just parrot Some Guy? Again, the latter appears more likely.

False dichotomy.

You could always go read it. It wasn't unnoticed that you took the first bail out you could find to keep from having to do that.
Phase change to "liquid" is probably the wrong model to apply to this. It assumes a conventional temperature increase beyond the melting point. If this were the case, phenomena such as un-burnt paper alongside toasted steel is highly unlikely. Yet we witnessed masses of paper alongside torched cars. Other evidence of unconventional heating included engines of cars burnt out whi
Welcome back!
I'm well aware of that.
Your guess is irrelevant.
This ended in 2006 dude.

I have indeed. For the record, it took one paragraph to see how clueless she was.
Bringing the conclusion towards directed energy weapons. Wood cites the Hutchison effect for a known example that such phenomena (also flipped up cars etc) can be deliberately caused by a DEW.

You do know that the category of DEWs includes lasers, right?
What an amazing coincidence you came up with the exact same ad hom attack.

Stop saying "ad hom" - you have no idea what it means. Discrediting her theory by attacking her personally would be an "ad hom". Mocking her theory because it's prima facie ****ing ridiculous isn't.
And no, it's not an amazing coincidence that I heard something about space lasers in a 9/11 conspiracy thread and came to some obvious conclusions about why the lasers would have to be out in space, mostly because I have some basic deductive reasoning abilities. You should work on yours.
Yes, and, although it was a clever political move, to threaten the Soviets with another spending round they couldn't afford, it was technically unfeasible at the time and was shut down in the early Nineties without ever achieving experimental or operational capability, let alone orbital platforms. The idea's only been revived these last few years.
If you mean the JREF Forum, same as both our roles here. Message board participants. There were sometimes topics that I was much more qualified in than others, I was happy to contribute more to threads that were in line with my educational and professional fields (medicine and music).
Why?

Just more ad hom.

Medicine and music. These are your quals. Good to know.

And somehow I understand basic physics better than you. You think Judy Wood's theory about how a falling floor would come to a complete stop each time it contacted the floor below is not hilariously wrong. That tells me I understand basic physics better than you do.
And yes, pretty much everyone here knows those are the two areas I am educated in primarily.
