President Elon Musk

He probably deserves his own thread at this point, discuss accordingly

Even a text with 50% false positives can be really useful if used properly.

At California’s Yosemite National Park, the Trump administration fired the only locksmith on staff on Friday. He was the sole employee with the keys and the institutional knowledge needed to rescue visitors from locked restrooms

Wat. How do visitors get locked in restrooms? Is this a common occurrence? America#1

It's a critical role but before March I was just a seasonal employee and the role wasn't that critical. Ok buds

the 8m / 8bln is made up by the usual toxic leftists who need to invent stuff

8 bln was a mistake INSIDE THE DATABASE, not by DOGE team

According to the transitioned child of musk, he lied when he said he was tricked (if that meant he didn't know what he had signed). As we understand it now, Musk was tricked in believing transitioning would have helped his child, that's the claim basically. Tricked by gender theory, by leftism. Then he woke up and deci

It was a mistake inside the database which they didn't notice until they used it in their calculations and bragged about it online, then fixed after someone pointed it out to them.

And he decided to dedicate his life to destroy those who destroyed his son... Which is him. Gender theory and leftism didn't sign the papers, he did. This version of the story makes him sound even less intelligent.

This version of the story makes him sound even less intelligent.

A remarkable feat.

Not so much less intelligent, more like just deranged.

Mailing it in has a 50% false positive likelihood. I went that route, had a positive reading and needed a colonoscopy anyhow. Had the procedure and was given the all clear - not even a polyp. Just fyi.

There's like a 25% miss rate of lesions in a colonoscopy 😆

It’s just clownish to come in as an outside auditor and make such a huge error off the bat. It’s political so people will defend doge no matter what but if you hired these guys to fix your company and they made a mistake like that in their first presentation of findings you’d be on the phone to their CEO talking about how they misrepresented their competency and how you’re very close to pulling the plug on the whole thing.

Musk tried to do everything he could to back out of buying Twitter lol. I had no opinion other than he clearly didn’t want to buy it and clearly owned himself in that moment.

Turned out pretty good for him in the long run

He was more interested in publicizing how many fake bot accounts they had, especially since most of the ones who were following sleepy ice cream boy and his camel were bots. I also have reason to believe it wasn't all of his money.

Bruh, with how much you call him ice cream this and ice cream that, it sounds like you're hella jealous that he can eat ice cream and you can't.

Presidents Trump and Musk are ready to inspect Fort Knox to "verify that the gold is still there" (and to disclose how much has been stolen from us when it's discovered it's not). Prior administrations couldn't get near it so we'll see how this disclosure goes. Elon wants to live stream the event. I can hear the liberal media right now after it's been proven Fort Knox is empty saying "but he had no right to go there"...

Trump on the plane kept wanting to talk about Fort Knox, notice how when the reporters kept changing the subject he kept going back to talking about "Fort Knox".

It's funny that Musk, a person you probably hated just a few years ago, is running the country and you couldn't be happier. So oblivious.

Idc/idgaf who's running it as long as they're running it properly and not stealing from it. (ihth's).

So you think a drugged up Musk is running it properly? You think claiming Fort Knox is empty is going to bolster the economy? Have some ice cream and get some glucose to your noggin.

The man is on Twitter 4+ hours every day, digitally yelling and whining to hundreds of millions of people.

And yes, he routinely re-tweets or spouts nazi-related nonsense. Now, when dear old grandma with 7 followers re-tweets a neo-nazi meme, its not good, but doesn't matter all that much to society in a vacuum. When a man with hundreds of millions of followers does it, it is actually a very bad thing. The accounts behind such things grow, when they grow, the ideology grows.

This is an excellent argument for the complete dismantling of things like Twitter, and I'm all for it.

There is such a thing as too much access to information, and we're living it. Having a device in your pocket that can broadcast your every thought to the entire planet in the same moment you're thinking it is objectively a terrible thing for both the individual and society as a whole.

How many Tweets weren't deleted fast enough and got people cancelled?

How many truly ******ed things have you thought to yourself, maybe even out loud, and a week later were thankful that it lived and died with you as the only witness.

You guys think I'm an idiot, but you're only getting the posts that I write and then actually follow through on. Imagine the stuff that didn't make it all the way to the Submit button! Some of my shittiest work here have been situations where I'm distracted, skim something, write a knee-jerk reaction, post, and then 15 minutes later think to myself, "Welp, no fixing that now."

How many people total have ever been cancelled?

How many truly ******ed things have you tho

One could think before they click reply on twitter. It's really not that difficult and not at all different from here. So either ban it all or don't ban any of it.

I don't disagree, and I would add that when a lot of people are listening, I think the moral responsibility for what one posts online increases.

For what it is worth, I do not think you are an idiot. I appreciate your posts.

He's not running the country, Trump is.

You should stop listening to liberal based fake propaganda media who are programming into your head that Musk wants to take over the world. That's why when TV first came out in the 50's it was called "programming". They weren't lying.

I would argue for breaking more corporations up because they become too dominant in the market and powerful in society.

Most of them you've never even heard of. Think niche markets and people who have their come-up derailed because of a bad take that pisses off the base who would've spread them to the wider world.

You can read just about any book about some historical figure of great renown and find all manner of debauchery spelled out by those who investigated them for the history books. Or even those who lived lives of active degeneracy but had the details of it hidden from wider society. You don't even have to look back very far. Pablo Picasso was highly abusive to women. If Twitter existed at the time, would people today know his name?

I'm asking for a number. I know you don't know it exactly, but I wonder if you think it's like 100 people, a thousand people or a million people.

Like, I know people have gone absolutely insane about a handful of trans athletes and those people, fewer than a dozen, have affected the election and the direction of the entire government of the USA. And I guess people know this? I wonder if they also think like 100 or fewer people have been canceled and it's understandable that hundreds of millions of people are obsessed by that.

I have no idea what the ice cream thing is even in reference to, but I assume it's even more stupid than "tampon tim."
