This was also my prediction but I'm starting to think it is not going to come true. Trump seems more unpredictable than ever. I think that assassination attempt messed with his head. I thought since Trump is only in office one more term he would even betray his financial backers but he hasn't. Elon was one of those backers plus Elon is pissing off the libs so much that I think it grants him some extra staying power.
I don't think much of Elon's intelligence after hearing the details of his contributions to his various companies and hearing him be a huge poseur on this history podcast. But you have to admit he can manipulate people. He's manipulated himself into being the world's richest man without ever really contributing anything substantial. It's entirely possible Elon has found Trump's control switch, maybe hyping up some anti aging regime or some super viagra or something else only the richest Silicon Valley titans have.
However, it's early. The dismissals and betrayals may happen yet.
