I was going to enter on Friday, but got busy. Too bad, I think I recognized a bunch of them. Would have had trouble assigning them to categories, though.

I've been checking the PUB all day waiting for Amps review of the Minecraft movie. Still nothing. And I grow weary.

Am trying to figure out lunch today.

sandwich:

• ciabatta roll
  
• bbq tofu with kc masterpiece bbq sauce
  
• pineapple jalapeno cole slaw (aready chilling in the fridge)
  
• pickled red onions
  

sides:

• homemade sweet potato chips dusted with smoked paprika and sea salt
  
• fresh watermelon
  

Do y'all think the sandwich needs cheese?

I hope you are putting all this in a picnic basket and eating it while managing an impromptu ant invasion.

When has cheese made ANYTHING worse? I'll wait.

LOL--we might very well eat it outside, but it would probably be on our front porch. I'm just not sure how the creamy slaw will interact with cheese. I have extra sharp cheddar and fresh mozzarella.

We're having round two later this week, but in place of the slaw, we could have cheddar, jalapenos, and maybe pickles?

As a cheese lover, I would still say no.

Round two, yes. But I would not add cheese to a bbq sandwich with slaw.

maybe try making the sandwich without cheese, take your first bite of the sandwich, and also take a bit of cheese, and see how that goes

I hate pickles. It's like someone is purposely destroying the food.

For those who enjoy cucumbers but REALLY love lighter fluid and dull.

Fresh cucumber slices in sushi vinegar is marvelous.

Cheese makes everything worse.

If the tofu were extra firm and seared, I would go for that sandwich.

It was superfirm, marinated in smoky sweet bbq sauce, then dipped in cornstarch, redipped in bbq sauce, redipped in cornstarch, and fried in canola oil, topped with extra bbq sauce and the pineapple jalapeno slaw.

Even better.

I rarely bake something, but made brownies 3 times in March. I always mess up something, but they were fairly decent each time.

Brownies have a bit of built-in slack.

I made brownies a few weeks ago for a party. Oven went berserk and threw a code (internet said it was excessive temperature). Fortunately I was close by and could pull them out before they burned much. They were ~ done so we tested them and weirdly enough everyone (except me) thought they were great.
