man orlando is BAAAAAAAAAAAAAD

But are they Philly level bad?

Up by 2 goals in the 80th minute, come away with 0 points.

Montreal out here making history.

25' Laborda M. (White B.) [VAN]
29' White B. (Picault F.) [VAN]
40' Lletget S. (Ferreira J.) [DAL]
42' Picault F. (Raposo R.) [VAN]

curious the last time vwfc won b2b road games by more than 1 goal, if it's ever happened
(in b4 i look it up and it happened like last year)

anyway, point is they're big time back and vanni will obv be out of a job by the time his suspension is over

match of the day gotta be chicago/montreal:

lolololomgwtfbbqetc

Montreal reminding us all MLS is MLS

Mostly they just got robbed by the replacement officials.

Chicago's 1st goal was offside. They scored off a corner, that was actually a goal kick ruled incorrectly. And this was somehow a PK + red (Chicago scored 3 goals in 20 minutes after this red). I thought the regular officials were bad, but holy ****, I'm not even sure the replacements have watched soccer before.

Even the wind was in on it. Although this deserves a lolSirois too:

that last fire goal was just so lol.

I keep wondering if TODAY is gonna be the day Orlando starts playing as well as I expected them to play before the season started or just continue to be horrendous.

well Orlando continues to be absolutely horrible

not only did they get shut out but they managed a whooping .30xG
they have scored 2 goals in 5 games just absolutely abysmal.

in fairness to orlando looking awful, atlanta is pretty good.

in other news, pepi had a nice game winner for PSV at the death today. MLS builds winners!

Pepi's #s are actually pretty insane

7g and 1a in only 350 minutes of play.

Luuk de Jong has like 31 total goals, so Pepi hardly gets any starts, but de Jong is 33 so can't have much time left, so hopefully Pepi can take over soon. He's still only 21.

Balogun crushed last year with 21 Ligue 1 goals with Monaco, but is down to 5 this year. So CF position may not be on lock down if someone else steps up.

messi fc when messi doesn't play:

3' Morgan L. (Vanzeir D.) [NYR]
51' Morgan L. (Vanzeir D.) [NYR]
65' Carmona W. (Vanzeir D.) [NYR]
70' Morgan L. (Vanzeir D.) [NYR]

4 assists for Vanzeir maybe a record for a match?

yeah that's what i was thinking, seems like it ties the record? hard to find info on this, but it looks like yimmi chara (portland) in 2020 and ante razov (chicago) in 2000 also had 4-assist games. not sure if there are others

Non-Penalty Goals + Assists/90
1. Dante Vanzeir • NY Red Bulls 1.99
2. Luis SuΓ‘rez • Inter Miami 1.78
3. Josef MartΓnez • CF MontrΓ©al 1.69
4. Robin Lod • Minnesota Utd 1.51
5. Giorgos Giakoumakis • Atlanta Utd 1.40
Dejan Joveljić • LA Galaxy 1.40
7. Lewis Morgan • NY Red Bulls 1.39
8. Christian Benteke • D.C. United 1.33
Lionel Messi • Inter Miami 1.33
10. Carlos GΓ³mez • Real Salt Lake 1.15

josef martΓnez confirmed big time back

Vancouver Whitecaps - Toronto FC
Los Angeles FC - Los Angeles Galaxy
Austin FC - San Jose Earthquakes
Chicago Fire - Houston Dynamo

the vancouver/toronto game not on tv here, but the los angeles derby is, classic mls

1st galaxy goal pretty funny. post and then two blocks before scoring on the 4th chance

followed by a completely bs penalty for lafc. if there was any contact, it was from bouanga kicking out as he dove. what a jopke #matchfixing

Got cocky and thought Josef was anything more than a super sub. Since giving him the last 2 starts, MTL have not scored.

so many LOLs for SKC.

and that ref in LAFC/LAG game should be investigated what a sham.

little question that scottish messi has been the best whitecap in the mls era. crazy that brian white has been nearly as productive, and he's just some guy that nyrb didn't want
