That was a BS penalty that put VGK on the power play. Not that they scored. But still.

I am on another level. Let’s go Canes!

it hertls dont it

These OT periods just don't have the same juice without Doc as the commentator. McDonough is just way too boring,.

Looking forward to the heels trip report and if he will ever regain full auditory function

Take back everything negative about heels.

GO HEELS!

Un ****ing real!!!

HEELS

so ****in loud there

I’ve never heard something close to that volume. The crowd was absolutely insane. My ears were ringing. I was accidentally elbowed on the back of the head out of excitement haha.

I’m wasted and have a tough drive home tomorrow. But back in the hotel buzzing right now waiting on Domino’s. I’m not sure anything will ever top that experience. Just absolutely insane from feeling dead with 10 mins to go in the 3rd to the final outcome.

Let’s go Jarvy!

4 playoff series, 4 game 2 OT wins. 3 2-0 road experiences, let’s hope this series takes that same form.

Congrats caniacs

Good stuff Heels

No thanks on Larkin to Habs. Seems like a locker room problem and the Habs have a good group of bros. Plus Larkin is full MAGA and doubt he wants to go to Canada anyway. He's not very physical and the Habs need some grittier players. I'd rather have McTavish.

one of the better games i've ever watched

really felt like vgk was the better team

my best lineup so far

So the object of the game is to get 82-0?

by CowboyCold m

So the object of the game is to get 82-0?

yes it started with NBA one (https://www.82-0.com/)

you get randomized a team in a decade and pick from that list. then spin again.

you can swap team once, and swap decade once.

lot of luck involved, and i'm not sure how they grade the players. like is 80s Gretzky rated better than 90s Gretzky? probably but i'm not sure.

I'll give it a few spins and report back. Sounds fun. I'd have no chance in the NBA one.

key is gretsky, this is easily one of the worst spins i had outside of him and easily the best result

still had the decade swap in my back pocket, but Rantanen was the last pick and don't think I'm getting a better COL RW in a different decade.

omg i just realized you can do a swap... this changes everything

by rickroll m

omg i just realized you can do a swap... this changes everything

put grant fuhr in net or ken dryden

Matthew Knies was traded to Mtl at the deadline for 2 top prospects and 2 1st rounders but the horrible Leafs management filed 1 minute late so trade did not go through.

there's this one too, basically the same

Nick Suzuki's Selke win is the 2nd most lopsided voting result between 1st & 2nd place in the history of the award, only behind 2024 Aleksander Barkov

3rd is 2023 patrice bergeron. the selke has always been a weird narrative-based award because nobody knows **** about defensive play in general, but it seems to be getting worse. there shouldn't be so much consensus on this.

1. Nick Suzuki, MTL 2.68 ga/60, 53.5% xg / +7.1% rel
2. Anthony Cirelli, TBL 2.84 ga/60, 56.1% xg / +2.7% rel
3. Brock Nelson, COL 2.5 ga/60, 59.88% xg / +3.6% rel
4. Mitch Marner, VGK 2.21 ga/60, 56.3% xg / +3.8% rel
5. Jordan Staal, CAR 2.47 ga/60, 54.1% xg / -3.6% rel
6. Shane Pinto, OTT 2.25 ga/60, 55.1% xg / +0.6% rel
7. Jack Eichel, VGK 2.29 ga/60, 57.6% xg / +5.1% rel
8. Sebastian Aho, CAR 2.61 ga/60, 56.8% xg / +5.1% rel
9. Nico Hischier, NJD 2.62 ga/60, 54.7% xg / +7.8% rel
10. Yanni Gourde, TBL 2.81 ga/60, 49.5% xg / -0.4% rel
like 50+ guys got votes, which says a lot

suzuki had a great season no doubt, he obv gets it on the fact that so many of his teammates blow. but you could make a good case for others, like eichel

funny that yanni gourde was straight up bad this season, and that staal placed higher than aho

perron, det/ott 1.95 ga/60, 56.8% xg / +6.5% rel
carrier, car 1.99 ga/60, 58.8% xg / +2.3% rel
holmberg, tbl 2.01 ga/60, 57.2% xg / +3.2% rel
back, dal 2.03 ga/60, 54.7% xg / +3.3% rel
cozens, ott 2.03 ga/60, 61.0% xg / +8.1% rel
stone, vgk 2.04 ga/60, 58.7% xg / +7.1% rel
dorofeyev, vgk 2.06 ga/60, 56.5% xg / +3.8% rel
janikowski, car 2.11 ga/60, 60.1% xg / +4.7% rel

david perron wtf
dylan cozens is apparently an animal to play against? still might need a skill glow-up tho
carrier & janikowski and stone & dorofeyev? yeah obv just watch the final here
back >>>>> holmberg

other notables working down from there:

kyrou, stl +12.8% rel
couturier, phi +5.8% rel
tkachuk, ott +7.0% rel
nichushkin, col +4.4% rel
michkov, phi +4.6% rel
this schmaltz/keller/hayton(?) line in utah
this fiala/kuzmenko/turcotte(?) line in la

jordan kyrou was da real mvp
yeah the tkachuks can play
couturier still gettin it done is p sick ngl
nichushkin, yeah
will philly trade michkov? hmm...

also buy stock in?:

luke evangelista, nsh
anders lee, nyi
brandon hagel, tbl
shane wright, sea
blake coleman, cgy
ton wilson, wsh
mackie samoskevich, fla
roope hintz, dal
alexis lafrenière, nyr
robert thomas, stl
dmitri voronkov, cbj
arseny gritsyuk, njd
matias maccelli, tor

alright i'll stop now. but these are most of the top defensive playdrivery selke types this season
(save for a few of the obvious ones like mcbust, robertson, barzal, hughes, etc that i omitted at the end)

really wish players voted on selke winner
