Champions League 2024/2025 thread
The new bs format CL starts today, have fun!
Crikey.
No wonder Salah takes all the pens
Well thank **** for that.
lolplop
So it's PSG v Villa in the quarters iirc?
Assuming Villa go through of course
PSG gonna curb stomp villa 10-0.
Psg looks really really good. Definitely a contender this year. More so than the years with mbappe messi neymar upfront
They were excellent, tie shouldn't really have been close. We just look to be running out of gas, hopefully recover well enough for the final. Been a great season regardless.
That was a shocking pen from Vini
Real celebrating like they dont play us next round 😏
Also did the Alvarez pen get Mitrovic'd?
USAIDS probably balls deep into UEFA, that was all-time gross
madrid > lolarse
qsg > villa
barca > dortmund
bayern > inter
final in munich ... buyern > qsg
out b4 wrong about everything
vamos see ya gunners
I feel like the higher ranked teams should pay the second leg at home for the entire knockout phase. Why only do it for the play in and ro16?
That Alvarez pen take is so dubious.
Certainly a double touch should not be allowed, but no way did he have any advantage falling on his arse there

Its not an advantage for him but that has no meaning in this debate
This is just like the disallowed penalty from Mitrovic only his double contact was more clear
I think the VAR had better camera angles that I've seen on TV because they were pretty quick to conclude double contact
Here you can see there is clear contact, although its minimal

I'm just glad you lit got it out of your system before facing us
I reckon we have about 30-35% to go through. Maybe less - did not check the bookies only a gut feeling.
Doesn't such VARing mean that, bsides penalties, like 5% of the innocent corner kicks and free kicks are now worth a close look?

i feel like it should have left one foot before it hits the other to be consider a double touch. and this is just one touch like when you kicked the ball with both feet at the same time as kids
I accidentally clicked on FS2 and Saudi League Soccer is on. ITT v. RIY. Easily 500 security and police surrounding the pitch. It's only at 22:00. Is this standard for Saudi games? Whatever off to find some pics of hot Saudi soccer fan chicks.

You arent allowed to take a penalty kick with both feet at the same time either btw.
Its harsh to go out this way but they followed the rules.

Markets still rate arsenal surprisingly well despite all the injuries. I think line is somewhere around 42-43% to advance. Was hoping Madrid would be a lot shorter and could maybe grab arsenal at 3.0
i dont think that's clear from the way the rules are written. it doesnt specifify that youre only allowed to use on foot or whatever. you cant touch the ball again but when does the first touch actually end?
where you at gunners
Courtois; Valverde, Asencio, Rudiger, Alaba; Camavinga, Modric, Bellingham; Rodrygo, Mbappe, Vini Jr.
Bookies have arsenal as quite the big favorite... not surprising with real's current run of form
