a few thoughts

Green Bay look really good on both sides of the ball

It really surprised me that there were no designed runs for Daniels

It's always bothered me that Parsons celebrates his own plays but not his teammates

Josh Jacobs is slow.

Josh Jacobs is slow.

He’s good though

Interesting chart from Nate Silver on AFC North QBs

So at no point when both active has Burrow ever been better than Lamar? Sign me up.

it's interesting isn't it? a little surprising, but the model must favour rush yards and therefore Lamar. I really like and rate Burrow, but he is very clearly a ' great traditional QB' rather than the running QB that Lamar and Josh are.

For some reason I find it hilarious that the acronym is QBERT and Flacco is still on the chart

That was a great arcade game in the 80s

That was a great arcade game in the 80s

loved it, along with dig dug, joust, and tron

Robotron was probably my favorite, but my specialty was Galaga or Pacman. Had a lot of DigDug patterns, but I played it recently and couldn't remember ****, lol.

I was pretty solid at Joust and Donkey Kong, but Pacman (the OG console) was my jam.
I wonder if the patterns are still ingrained enough that I could still blue key it up

Asteroids and Tron!

Galaga, Astroids, Pac-Man and Missle Command were the best

Knew a guy who was really good at Bishop of Battle. He beat level 12. Never saw him again after that.

y'all remember Marble Madness? a bit obscure but one of my faves

how about the peeps that played Track & Field w the pencil technique to crush all the records

the best game to play in computer class

Qbert sucked.

The entire game was just “these controls don’t work the way your brain thinks they should and sometimes we reverse it to **** you over”.

Kung Fu Master, Hyper Olympics, Orkanoid, Donkey Kong

He's ok. I remember him being a lot more explosive though. I'd be concerned if he was on my fantasy team. I see a lot of 20/60 and no TD games. Also, how come they don't throw to him? He used to catch it with the Raiders.

You guys should all watch this. It's a short film from the anthology movie "Nightmares" (1983). It has Emilio Estevez in it. It blew my mind when I was a kid:

the only arcade game location within walking distance of our 45 minute middle school lunch period was kfc which required crossing a four lane highway
galaga, qbert, and joust were the attraction

any potential benefit from the difficulty typically soars over the head of some second hand game theory optimimists πŸ˜ƒ

Love a good derail. I was the best at Defender. Game console was at Skinny's drive in convenience store 2 blocks from the high school. Came out in 1981 with cutting edge graphics and game play for the era.

Unlike pac-man and donkey Kong, which I found boring, I don't think Defender was solvable. Also amazing how long the intro to the game was. Short attention span hadn't taken over children's brains back then. Or they just wanted you to get the best bang for your quarter buck.

Love the 80s sound effects. Game looks addicting and vaguely familiar. Can't believe I never heard of it before.
