Thanks yall. A friend of mine has lost a few of his close movie festival pals and we're both hurting, we were both close with the guy who just passed. Life's too short and far too cruel.

Visited the rose garden in Regent's Park this evening. Maybe last week would have been optimal, but still not bad. Pleasant evening, following a thunderstorm, so not many people about. One almost forgets the possibility of these little escapes.
I'm amazed how wobbly I can get from two glasses of wine, especially over the course of a three hour dinner.
Probably only eating once all day isn't exactly healthy.

I'm on vacation! Then again I am mostly retired so I am pretty much always on vacation? But the week is over and the market got wrecked today. No worries 😀 Monday I am headed out to Vegas for 2 glorious weeks of WSOP. I can't wait! Right now I am sipping on a White Russian because there is no reason not to finish all of my cream since I will be out of town for two weeks. I have just enough for one more White Russian 😀
For the past 2 weeks the weather here has been perfect. I have spent time out on the deck sunning and reading and listening to music almost every day. But I can't wait to get out to the Vegas heat and action. I love tournament poker and wsop is the best time for that and I can't wait!

Not a date. One of my coworkers needed some advice, so we met up for a while. She's a nice young woman, recently divorced, and I'd like to hook her up with someone. She also has a Ph.D. and is a dean.
And since I pay for dinner, I'm not really a cheap date.

I agree. Last night went to a local bar for the first half of the basketball game. I had one bourbon and again felt slightly intoxicated.
Some nights I can go out to dinner and feel completely fine after two glasses of wine. Other nights I feel drunk.
I'm a lightweight. And a cheap date.

Long story but I’m going. Arriving 6/11 leaving early 6/19. Orleans was sold out but Rio’s Masquerade Tower Strip View was shockingly cheap.
