2025 WSOP!!
I know it’s early and normally I’m not excited about WSOP this soon after but dang it, I’m itching to go back already!
I made some deep runs and cashed in 2024 but still feel unfulfilled by going home without some hardware on my wrist.
2025 is my year!!
Any thoughts on how the GG purchase might change it in 2025, if at all? I suspect it will be pretty similar to last year but with more online qualifiers, satellites, and events.
For those debating between Paris and Horseshoe, if you are playing a tourney be very cautious about heading to your room at horseshoe during a break. I know the elevators have broken leaving players stuck on there for some time, at one point last year some players had their chips pulled from the table after a while. I believe it happened a few years ago as well.
Someone had to get screwed. It's the seniors since they place first and then have to pay for another hotel day waiting for day 2. I would have thought they'd make it the other way around.
Think about it - the old farts start their day one at 10:00 AM the pups start at 4:00PM I sure as hell want to finish my Day 1 before MIDNIGHT instead of 4 am in the morning and then get up to play at 2:00 the next day.
They did we "mature" players a favor. 😃

Don't the under 50s who bag have to do the same? And I gotta say, seems the clear choice to have the olds start at 10a and the youngs bag late and have to restart early, rather than the other way.
I've stayed at both. If the money doesn't matter to you, I think Paris is the objectively nicer hotel.
Is it a drastic difference? No.
Is the convenience going to vary wildly from one to the other? No. They are both ground zero for the WSOP.
If you're going to stay at a Caesars property, I'd stay at Planet Hollywood. Easy walk. Better Casino, better food options, attached to a mall, fewer WSOP attendees. No brainer to me.
👍

I’ve never had that happen but it wouldn’t surprise me that it has. Probably happens in a lot more Vegas hotels than people realize. Those elevators get a lot of constant use.
I’ve stayed at both Paris and HS and prefer HS. I find it a little closer proximity to the games (unless seated at Paris), better food options, and I hate saying it but it seems less pretentious.
When I’m getting in poker business mode and getting my mind ready to play, walking by scantily clad drunk 21 year olds outside of the Vanderpump restaurant thing, it just takes me out of the zone.
I want the dirty grit of unwashed heavyset people with backpacks, headphones, and a dream. THAT’S what gets me amped to play!
I've been sweating my drop down to Platinum from Diamond regarding valet parking even as a guest. Just found on site that its still free for Platinum " Valet Parking is complimentary for Caesars Rewards Platinum, Diamond, and Seven Stars Members."
At least at the Horseshoe, Paris and The Cromwell. Can anyone confirm this with real world first hand knowledge https://www.caesars.com/parking

I was Diamond last year and can confirm I had free valet parking at Paris.
GLGLGL
As did I (Diamond) last year and yes it was free (and convenient ) but the website also says PLATINUM has free valet and candidly that happily surprised me. Since I am just Platinum this year that was what I was hoping to confirm. But thank you for the input.
