ex-President Trump
I assume it's still acceptable to have a Trump thread in a Politics forum?
So this is an obvious lie - basically aimed at
they're RINOs guys.. the truest of scumy scum that defied the trump emperor.
Trump says presidents should be allowed to 'cross the line' without being prosecuted
Trump is not arguing that he's innocent, he's arguing that he has a right to be a criminal.
The conversation gets off track when they talk about "future presidents" having immunity.
Trump does not intend for there to be any future presidents - he intends 2024 to be the last election.
I wonder how every single president before him managed to do anything without total immunity.
I'd be interested in the pure scum assessment also. Reading the backgrounds of the leadership of the group shows how there is an entire industry that is in the business of running campaigns. And these people are some of the well established operators in that field. Generally these campaign consultants stick with either republican or democratic candidates or causes but sometimes do both.
I found the references in some alluding to international clients interesting. Foreign leaders often hire US
They basically grifted like Trump does took in tons of money and than paid it to firms they owned as well as allegations against one member of sexual misconduct and harassment .
CNN and the NY Times and Politico all have run pieces on them
Though I remember Steve Schmidt doing zoom calls and he had a gorgeous house

Thanks
It wasn't bad thing and actually like Steve Schmidt . I just remember Covid and going damn that house is gorgeous had a ton of Indigenous art as well which I love. What was cool he did his zoom interviews from different rooms as well
John Weaver certainly sounds like a bad guy. None of this is shocking. You aren't necessarily a good person just because you publicly oppose Trump.

Seem it was the plan all along and he was right …..
Broken YouTube LinkJudge Kaplan admonished Trump attorney Alina Habba on courtroom procedure.
Remember, this is the lawyer who forgot to check the box to ask for a jury trial.
This is a woman who said she would rather be pretty than smart because she could fake being smart.

I think she just describing herself already by saying that knowingly.
Trump’s new Truth Social rant makes a pitch for the president as absolute ruler
Trump’s imagines the president not as a civil servant constrained by the
law but as an absolute ruler restricted only by his own moral reservations.
LOL
He's not pitching for "the president" to have absolute immunity. Just him. I'll bet anything he's been recorded at some point in time that some past president should be tried for something or other.
Against my better judgment, I went on Reddit today. I found this list of "All the terrible things Trump is promising to do in a second term" on there:
https://www.rollingstone.com/politics/po...
There are a few knee-slappers in there, but also some, "By God, it's so crazy it just might work."
I'll leave it to you to speculate on which is which.

So, he starts out by promising to indict Biden, but presidents are supposed to have complete immunity. How does that work?
You don't think a compilation of Rachel maddow lying her ass off is funny?
I do. I think it's hilarious.
I don't care much for Maddow. I tried to watch her once and didn't like what I saw. But those guys are utter morons. Thirty seconds and I've lost a significant number of brain cells.
