He has gone 7 years without a job and living the dream. Epic rant.

I love how he thinks he's going to be so successful that he'll be able to stick it to the haters.

If you had even the slightest foresight, he would realize this business as it is, is basically capped. Literally capped as their business that can only do $35k gross a year.

All these products are handmade, which sounds great as a selling point but horrible to scale up from their candy making vlogs. If they both made candy 16 hours a day, that's 32 man hours a day at most. Couple that with their main customer base comes from a 50k subscriber YouTube base that has been stagnant for years now.

I haven't tried their brittle or candy but that is what has to stand out to grow exponentially especially when you are selling a common product. There is nothing unique about brittle or lollipops.

The initial sales came from loyal fans. Do they really think a farmer's market will draw in that many new customers? And again, let's say it is successful and they draw in hundreds of new customers, with only 32 total man hours a day to produce product, they will fall way behind orders and will eventually lose repeat buyers.

But hey, he's gonna love sticking it to the doubters and the haters. Good luck.

But the website man!

You are overlooking the website. Nothing sells candy like a pale green 1950’s pickup truck loaded with pumpkins.

Don't forget the butterfly! They both had clothing made with that butterfly logo. Although I guess it could be a good thing cause people will be asking wtf does a butterfly have to do with candy and sweets. Great icebreaker and they can explain the vision statement behind it.

With a deep thinking business mind like Trooper, how will he not be successful and stick it to the haters?

I mean Jeff Bezos started Amazon out of his garage. Now here comes Sprkli out of the personal kitchen.

And again, let's choose a business name with an odd and unique spelling. Nothing like telling people the name and immediately having to spell it and hope they remember that unique spelling. Brilliant!

Geez, these Baghdad Bob Trooper videos have become too depressing. It’s time for him to call up Limon and say “Abe, please get me out of this,” and do exactly what he says.

If that means becoming a beard/runner in Vegas, moving to LA to host/prop some small stakes games with locals that actually have some money, or even getting involved in the psychedelic cactus community in some legal way, he has to do it. His big plan right now is to sell candy at farmers markets for the same price as candy with THC in it. Doesn’t take a Navy nuclear physicist to realize that boat won’t float.

He is properly deluded. He says he feels responsible for two people's lives and not just one. I think he genuinely believes that when he says it and it's that narrative which she probably also buys into. In reality she is his golden ticket and without that he would be in a much worse position.

This. If anything, it's her that is providing for him at this point. His narrative is a very deluded one indeed. Nothing he has tried up to this point has stuck, so it's taken selling his girlfriends candy for him to reach any semblance of financial success, as modest as it may be and he couldn't be any prouder of himself. The whole thing is laughable.

Apart from his YT channel which has been stagnant for a long time and TT nothing else has worked. He said he is boss of Go Gamble World but that is a website with hardly any traffic and making content for it cost him heaps of time and some long standing friendships. Go gamble was a huge failure

Their main customer base can't even order online. They're gone. And capped at 35K gross? All the grannies at the farmer's market will try that stuff once and move along. There's no customer base left aside from his weekly diabetics convention at the Westgate, and they're all on doctor's orders not to touch that stuff.

What's 35K less business costs work out to? Half? Even if it's 25K, what's left over once they've covered their monthly nut?

He's (amazingly) turning her business into a bigger car wreck than the No Gamble World Empire, which I must admit, I did not think was possible. He's only going to be sticking it to her business.

I would guess that they are not aware of the 35k cap or if they are don't plan to stick to it. With so many cash transactions it must be easy to get around (although potentially risky)

Out of interest what do people think is realistic annual net profit for Sprkli both with and without shipping? Any business of this type surely has it's wings clipped without shipping

If they are operating under a cottage industry license, a website no matter how awful or awesome is useless. They have to sell directly and in person. I suspect they are skirting that law though.

I'm also not sure how he's gonna prove the doubters wrong if sales are capped at 35k annually, which is another cottage industry law. Gross profit on 25% margins would be $8750. I guess that's more than he made playing poker.

There's just too many limitations making food at home for sale that probably makes it one of the the worse choices for a home business right behind cooking meth. Yes, meth can be very profitable but eventually you will turn your house into a biohazard or blow it up.

I would love to see Trooper's feasibility analysis on his candy business. I am sure his business acumen is off the charts.

I would love to see Trooper's feasibility analysis on his candy business. I am sure his business acumen is off the charts.

He almost certainly hasn't gone deeper than; Trooper makes candy, Troopz buy candy

I just love that his one example of succeeding is that one time as a 40+ year old man, he worked extra shifts for 2 months at the fish market and saved up 2k to move.

I feel bad for him in the sense that this just has no chance.

The “not working a job” I find a little dishonest, trooper Thursday isn’t a job? Delivering chachkis and garbage to people isn’t a job? Making 100 vlogs in a row so you can save up money to play during the wsop isn’t a job? And maybe his treating those not like jobs is how he fumbled the bag so hard at them, and is less successful in vlogging than 20+ people, some of which started since Covid, probably at least 5 of them are post Covid. He hasn’t made it playing poker, which is conveniently the first word he says after that little part. That’s an example how he subtly tries to pretend he’s a poker pro. Poker hasn’t factored into his income at all, he’s made roughly 6k from poker cash games since then, he’s profited more from mtts but not much more, maybe another 6k I don’t know, and lost in mtts overall of course, and is overall down money playing poker since then, but was the first thing he said, why? He didn’t mention bubble craps?

again I feel bad for him at the end, you can’t get ahead of the game without a massive infusion of cash, most people in their 50s that are doing well, are on their way to retirement, have things set up. Of course not everyone does and that’s fine, but you can’t get ahead of the game in your 50s with regards to health insurance and retirement, the games in the 3rd or 4th quarter already and he hasn’t even put on his jersey

And I don’t know what he’s obsessed so much with the haters, he shows my building a lot in the background during this one which I think is funny, but let me tell you what’s going to happen if he’s successful from my point of view. I’m going to wake up at 3pm again, get a coke from my fridge, do online stuff, play madden for a while, my qb just got hurt, what a joke. Then do some online gambling stuff, maybe do a little gambling, go out and maybe even do in person gambling, then I’ll come back and try to flirt with the door girl Kaya and come back and either try to play fortnite with my friend Ryan or try to watch a show on Netflix, I’m not going to care, it’ll be shocking, I’ll think wow he really lucked up, but that’s it, I won’t care any more than when someone I don’t like binks an mtt or something, and it’s poker, that happens all the time. By “hating” you aren’t backing a losing horse, the guy is 50+, and has been a waiter all his life, he’s incredibly stupid and bad at business (his websites, failing to capitalize on vlogging taking off, getting into fights all the time on Twitter so much so he gets banned and on and on) the guy eats all fast food, nothing about the guy tells you he will be successful, but if he binks, good for him, I’ll still try to bang Kaya, I’m not going to be in tears, this hating thing is just such a tumor in his brain, to care so much is just so dumb. I assume people don’t like me, nobody has a 100% approval rating, I never think for 1 second about them I don’t get his obsession at all

by parisron k

He says poker and YT channel does not provide health insurance plan and he has to get ahead of the game.

He is now going to take us on the journey of the Rv in the desert sprkli pops (Breaking Bad) to a legit candy empire.

Not the best analogy. They went from making meth in an rv to making meth in a basement, but they were still making meth.

I'm looking for a new place to move to. Gonna need some pics of door girl Kaya for research purposes.

He needs to get back to waiting tables.

So Diesel drove 3 hrs plus in bad weather from Baltimore to Atlantic City, played 18 minutes of poker for his 'world record', got to check into his room at 5 am (11 hours early), went to the 'restaurant' Wawa one town over in Brigantine NJ, and eventually pulled out of Atlantic City, playing no more poker?

Diesel got a free room at Harrah's AC, and gave them no action in return.
He could of played a 4 hour session before he left town, but nope, he plain stiffed them.
When Diesel's comp offers from

He probably used a 5,000 tier credit night for the room.

As dumb as his 3 hour drive in the snow for his "record " is he plays in their poker rooms all the time. I doubt he's getting normal comp room offers but even if he does one day of no play is going to make zero difference in those offers.

It's actually amazing he was bright enough to try and check in at 5am. I didn't watch this video but I'm sure he smugly explained it thinking he's a genius.

I've checked in at Caesars properties in Vegas at 5 or 6am dozens of times. Occasionally they say no. Meanwhile he'll sleep in his car until noon before trying to check in to the Rio or Horsehoe on a weekday and thinks he's slick when they give him the room at noon.

What happened to the coffee business?

What do you mean? They’re considering going public with it. It’s such high quality stuff and not stored in open bags in his garage like some sort of animal feed

Are you suggesting that exposure to exhaust fumes and motor oil isn't the intended flavoring?

He needs to get back to waiting tables.

No he should deal poker and show some initiative and learn how to dress he could be floor in a few years and have a good job with benefits but he has to lose this stupid "I don't work or the man" crap.

Park MGM might have embraced the Trooper coffee/food truck idea -- they installed a legit food truck in the hallway across from Starbucks.

its based off the movie Chef , and the cubanos are decent. i get 400 a month to use in food at mgm and that spot has good value.

The deal was to get Tim health and dental insurance and to start saving for a house instead of paying rent, Her Mom is heartbroken over this idiot.
