Its also flat out wrong that his level of ability to play when things go wrong is around the 3 mark out of 10 like he talks about in the latest video.

As soon as he starts losing big pots or losing a couple of buyins he starts losing his shyt completely. Being able to keep playing (lol) while he still wins small amounts is not remotely close to being able to handle bad negative variance.

When bad negative variance hits you keep losing,even in soft live poker games with big achieveable winrates. If **** hits the fan for a decent stretch like 150-200 hours its not uncommon to drop like 15-20 buyins.

But Diesel is probably so deluded that he thinks he is the big exception that should be bulletproof regarding negative swings due to his absurdly nitty so called low variance style of play.

I have done some math and concluded that I am currently 5.387 out of 10 curious how many hours coach has logged per year over the past 5 years or so. Does any one know that info? Or is this top secret?

Pretty much top secret yeah, amount of hours last few years+ actual winrate in recent years seems to be top secret.

Coach blabbers on numbers,diagrams,keep track weeks over and over but avoiding the really intersting stuff like the devil. However if you want to know how much he uses on laundry pr day, or how much he uses on toilet paper pr week he can answer you in a second without even thinking.

But dont worry about our top coach, he keeps saying he makes more money than he needs despite sleeping in his car more often than ever and is having a mental breakdown on camera or needs to run back to his room to rant when he get stacked for one 200 buyin.

Averaged out across all rooms it is $13.21/hr, zero benefits. I guess the Caesars Diamond is a sort of a benefit with the cheaper housing cost, but still, $13.21/hr.

It's even worse because Diesel pauses his clock every time he gets up from the table, uses the bathroom, switches casinos, so he's actually worked maybe 20% more hours than recorded in the sheet. That would mean his true hourly if counting like any other job is somewhere in the $10/hr range, again no benefits.

Alright so he have actually posted his lifetime stats, that did pass me by i have to admit.

My general impression of Diesel is that he posts extremely detailed stuff on smaller parts of his volume, like for example 3 weeks there or his summer trips to Californa during WSOP- wich has the impact that its clouds his actuall results. Its like he is stirring the soup so much that its hard to gauge whats it really tastes like.

Ark - thank you for digging that up. It appears to be vegas pokerz only. It looks like approx 7k over over 11 years. I am curious how many hours per year he is logging. Does any one know if he has any actual year end totals for hours logged for any calendar year?

In a recent video, Rice mentioned he played mid 1500 hours in 2023.
He said his hours were down because of all the bad run outs he had.
Rice will not mention his monetary results for 2023 thou.
Rice had a bad year in 2023, which is mainly why he won't divulge the $ numbers.

Somewhere he posted his best year was 22,700 i believe in 2021 or 2022 but i dont remember where, while trying to back and look in this thread i came across when we found his linkedin profile and it was all about how he was actually the best but got screwed over, so funny

What's even weirder is that he saved the last bite of the hotdog also and keeps it with his other mementos and bags of rice in his car.

2019 he made 26k and in 2022 I thought he played the same hours and made 22k. I assume he did ok in 2020 and 2021 but he made under 10k in 2023 and now he is in full blown - boil your shoes to eat - panic mode.

Also, saw he only made 3300 total in dividend payments for all of 2022, probably should have kept that stock he said was performing too well and needed to dump it for more dividends. Gotta love diesel, he’s like the patron saint of grinders, if he just got a 400 hour winning month we could all cheer and close this thread because there would be no more relevant vlogs to comment on.

Diesel would of course be in critical condition because he took a wrong turn in the mgmg parking garage and was put in a coma by the feral cats, but he lives on as an immortal grinder because of the 400 hour month.

The vlog that is posted above me, “a year of poker hours” he said he made 28k in NL and lost 2k in mixed games bringing his total to 26k.

I assume since games were incredible 2020-22 he made roughly 20k a year until 2023 where he played less hours, games were tougher, and the skill gapped increased leaving diesel to make 11k or less and now he’s eating single cream cheese packets to survive but at least he learned how to iso-raise, small victories.

I mean they could all be fake numbers, I’m just believing them at face. Diesel said he loves to look over his spreadsheets and his CET/mgm reward accounts because he likes to read the numbers, we are not discussing a normal human.

Yes it's pure hilarity. Using his metrics he is 3 times more willing to continue playing on in the face of run-bad than 98% of other poker players. Yet from what we have seen the exact opposite is true.

He has a mental breakdown if he loses a single buy-in. If he goes for more than a day or so winning less then what he expects he should be winning then he needs to get away from the poker tables. He takes refuge in his room with all the comforting sights, sounds and smells of old Trooper videos and sardine slurry simmering in the rice cooker.
