No chance he is winning after 1000 hours starting now at non promo rooms. He seems to be only playing 300 cap games except for shallow mgmg tables, coupled with he only ever squeezes with AA, because he likes to trap with KK, I do not think he is even playing breakeven poker right now. It’s sad he is so fixated on paying “less” rake while losing at poker but if he focused on some light squeezes and straddling to lower the effective rake (which diesel has no concept of) he would win more and get paid off more since he’d have a looser image.

Diesel’s stupidity is scary sometimes, why publicly post rake stats that any of us miserable people can immediately see that he is basically blinding out of cash games?

The best idea is from whoever here suggested that diesel needs to just play at a different locals casino every day on a rolling schedule to give himself more table time before everyone figures out he’s an ultra nit.

We watched Timmy for how many years? Made us think he was a poker player when in reality he was just another wannabe that did nothing to improve his game or rise up in stakes. All the while making us the bad guys. Calling us names, outing sexual predators that dared question him? All his usual BS which was all for one reason. To get more clicks on YT because he refused to go to

Being a floor supervisor isn't a promotion above dealing. Floors make less than full time dealers, on average, and have more things to deal with such as managing dealer rotations, paperwork, tournament payouts and seat balancing, taking phone calls, scheduling, etc. The only places floors might make more than full-time dealers is in rooms that have a higher tournament to cash game down ratio.

Rice use to make fun of promo grinders in his videos, yet Rice is a promo grinder himself.
Yup, the bulk of Rice's poker profits come from grinding promos now.
No way in hell is Rice's hourly win rate $10/hr minus promo money.

The bulk of his profits, housing, drinks, vehicle storage. Did I miss anything? I guess cups of meat are now off the list.

How can a rec justify playing $1/2 without enjoying a few free cocktails?

Do FT dealers get benefits?

It appears Troop has evolved from standing in a parking lot talking about hating poker to standing in a parking lot selling his girlfriend's sweets, which he will also soon hate.

Most would agree that standing in a parking lot for anything other than parking is a poor life choice.

Do FT dealers get benefits?

When I was FT at Sahara I got benefits, but i was a dual rate. I want to say that FT dealers also get benefits, but don't hold me to it...

I don't think it's even that. Would you call hands like KQ, KJ, QT etc when someone like Diesel raises? The lower tier broadway cards that will be dominated vs Diesel's opening range. No. You just fold. Basically the only type of hands you'd play are pocket pairs and try to flop a set.His stats are really telling. Even Diesel I think opens to $10 so if called, there would

Imagine him playing Ax suited or Kx suited that isn't a Broadway hand. Haha.

Yep, long life rant. Short version is that even though getting the Westgate gig that paid him to play poker was the best thing that happened to him, it also stressed him out that he had 1 committed time he had to be somewhere each week. lol

Also, he is all in on the candy business and thinks he will turn it into an empire.

Vegas odds it turns into an empire? +65000. Non sports betters thats a lot.

So what’s the big tell he always held back?

The numbers don't matter, for example, count out a $75 bet behind the line and then put it it out and count it down again in the betting area and then take back $5 and bet $70, would be a bluff 100% of the time.

Career defining protip.

As someone who also dislikes working, dealing is a great lazy man's part time gig. Why trooper or diesel don't do this baffles me. Trooper I don't really like so whatever. But diesel I do, and would rather see him succeed. Just dealing 10-20 hours a week would benefit his life so much. But I'm saying the same things over and over. Obviously he's not open to accepting advice. I'm starting to become more like everyone just mocking El diesel about putting air in tires and laundry expenses

Rice flipping out over hand sanitizer dispensing stations disappearing in strip casinos. He must have been using them to fill up bottles for himself, just like how he steals condiments/serviettes/utensils everywhere he goes. It's the nomad way to stock up on anything that is free. You never know when you will need something when on the road travelling.

Rice flipping out over hand sanitizer dispensing stations disappearing in strip casinos.

It starts with taking away the hand sanitizer dispenser stations,
and before you know it, they're taking away the free drinks.

Trooper saying he basically hates playing poker now but he's stuck having to continue TT for the money and the uncertainty the candy business will take off enough to be able to walk completely away from the poker vlog.

Thanks why did you leave Sahara?

by pocket_zeros

the uncertainty the candy business will take off enough to be able to walk completely away from the poker vlog.

There is zero chance the candy business will ever pay the bills for two people.
The Troopers can't even scale the business up to have enough inventory for two full days of sales, never mind 3 days of sales, which Trooper is hoping to do soon.

The only thing keeping Trooper out of the tunnels is Christina's money.

Candy sales will be waning before you know it.

What will become of his beloved Westgate misfits game? Will Rice take over the hosting duties?

A company with the number of employees that Sahara has is required by law to offer health insurance to employees working over 30 hours per week.

Of course, if they are like most Corporations they probably play it off as how kind and generous they are for, you know, obeying the law and operating legally. That, and making sure part time employees always work 29 or less hours a week.

Just another thing the awful going to completely destroy America horrible ObamaCare introduced.

Ya while the thought process on the tell is sound, I don't think I've ever seen it and I pay attention to everything that's happening at the table. Definitely haven't seen it enough to even register as a viable tell for sure.Yet this is what Trooper hid as a super secret profitable tell from everyone? Can you imagine how proud Diesel must have been to be one of the few if onl

I know I saw El Diesel write in a comment section recently that he saw the tell once and in his case it meant the opposite.

The way Trooper describes it, it’s possible but I would have made the opposite assumption (if I were to even assume anything at all). I think someone trying to bluff would try to show strength and would not try to take any chips back.

I could see someone trying to bet for value, realize the bet is too big and might induce a fold, so they take some money back to make the bet smaller and thus more tempting to call.

I stepped away from poker vlogs on YT over a year ago and at the time I remember Brad Owens having overtaken Neeme, but now he seems to have dropped even further off? Is there a short story here someone can tell me?
