And they wrote it by interviewing people back in Gaza… you know, where Hamas is watching and where released Hamas members have every incentive to lie.
The organization is becoming a parody of itself and it’s frankly sad because we really do need them, or someone like them.
Maybe the right answer is dissolving the org and taking the lessons learned to build a new org to channel aid.
Forcing foreign countries to bypass Israelis to send aid, especially via airdrop, is going to get more supplies into Hamas’ hands than if IDF just took control of the distribution weeks, if not months, ago.

Well, it is only stupid if you assume the goal is to get aid to Palestinians at all costs. It seems obvious Israel is acutely concerned with protecting their soldiers' lives AND stopping the flow of weapons and war supplies to Hamas, and this is dictating strategy.

like what are we even doing here. from the start Israel bragged that they got this information from torturing people (in not so many words ofc. but I am able to read between the lines).
and its too late. already countries are funding UNRWA. first the EU did. Canada was about to and then Trudeau canceled it.

On all those fronts, IDF administering aid is the smart thing to do.
this is such a bizarre thing to say. the whole goal of the IDF and Israel is not to provide aid. its like saying the smart thing for the Nazis to do was simply not have concentration camps. its the whole point of the operation!
