Gobbo other Thread got closed by the mod said it doesn't belong in the House of Blogs, hoping we can have this one without Trooper talk.
This thread is to discuss local professional poker players on their journey. Please refrain from mentioning the local youtube celebrity who plays poker.

This now stands for this thread:
Trooper97 vlogs, discussions etc. will be allowed to continue in the new thread. That thread will not be unchained and I will work with the other LVL mods to keep it civil.
I personally am not going to allow a lot of the horrible posting that went on in the original thread to take place and I will be very generous with post deletions and bans if needed.
Posts the are overly derogatory, mean spirited, name calling (including using rude derivatives of names) , and demeaning posts towards any of the vloggers or posters in the thread will be deleted at the mods discretion. If any accounts persistently do this they will be banned or exiled from posting in this thread. In these cases we may issue a warning first.
Accounts that are used only to or substantially to troll post in this thread will be banned.
No personal family information or situations allowed in the thread.
Update April 2018
********************
OK Vlogger Thread, we are going with some new parameters to try to make this the POSITIVE vlogger thread that it is supposed to be, not the AIDS vlogger thread where a few loonies ruin it for the rest. Note that 'positive' does not equal 'only positive', it means anything negative being said CAN'T be namecalling or wild, unsubstantiated speculation regarding any and all vloggers. Personal lives and anything aside from poker is OFF THE TABLE.

A new update March 2019:
NO ****ING POLITICS!
There's nothing wrong with eating at the table if you dedicate ONLY one hand to touching the food and the other ONLY for chips/cards. They should never cross. You can eat chicken wings one-handed and never touch the cards or chips with that hand. Does take a bit of skill though 😃
My favorite poker visual is watching a hot Asian chick eating potato chips with chopsticks.
Against better judgement I watched the el d challenge videos.
This mfer filled half the ****** box with WHITE RICE
That box should be ALL MEAT. UNBELIEVABLE
NO, I don't want to look at you. I need more time to process this abortion.
He could've easily stuffed the bagels in his pants.

yeah we spent a couple days on this episode last week
from his response, "to keep the integrity of the challenge" he was not allowed to cook his own rice or just buy a bag of bagels.
and since all he wants to eat is rice and bagels, he had to "buy them" using comps.
so yes, a $20 box of rice and bagels
what an imbecile
maybe pman needs to give the 20/40 and/or 40/80 limit game at Bellagio a shot
That would be worse. He would freak out about all the trash he'll get beat with and all the chasing going on and will complain about not being able to protect his hand. Basically another game he completely misunderstands how it's played.
that was pretty good. Video work was nice. I like to see real footage of a game and people's faces are a plus.
he only showed like 3 hands and they were all his biggest wins
I didn't quite understand what game this was but that is cool that he could film at RW
Cool, thanks for the feedback! Yeah he runs a pretty big fishy game 3x a week there, had some other appearances too by Andrew Neeme and Mariano. Will let him know he's on the right track
I would rather make fish with TBC, Trooper, and Diesel in a hotel room than play limit holdem
Yawn… We all know, because there’s less gambling in it and you are a gambling addict. You would do better in a mid/high limit game but you’d rather punt $300/500nl buyins at a time paying some terrible Vegas nit’s bills. Keep shoving those deuces all in pre and defending 36o, it’s noble nit charity work you are doing.
For the life of me, I still do not know how TBC is not broke and still moving along just fine. At least we need an estimate on his expenses but not down to the penny like El Diesel.
Diesel would have a heart attack if he found out how much TBC wastes on housing and travel expenses.
TBC isn't broke cause he actually wins decent money at poker, travels to places where games are great and isn't a super nit.
Could you imagine how good of a poker player we could create if we took the best qualities from Trooper, Pman, Diesel and TBC?
Trooper's emotional control when faced with adversity like actual coolers/bad beats and haters.
Pman's dogged ability to grind everyday through thick and thin.
Diesel's healthy eating habits.
TBC's buy in strategy to maximize profits.

I would like to put all 4 of them in a house together and make a poker vlog out of it. A house that one of the 4 bought 4 years ago with a better interest rate. I would half El Diesel claim the living room couch for $300 a month.
To be fair, TBCs biggest random jackpots over the years on slots and VP are what keeps him afloat. 6 akin to picking up 25-30k a year in tournament scores without the grind. I can't stand him as a human being, we've had our differences but I respect his fearlessness. He's operating at max capacity given his condition.

the perfect player
TBC survives mainly on a diet of comped mashed potatoes and requires a good quality microwave in his hotel rooms to heat his convenience store grub.
Diesel's diet is largely rice and bagels and he hauls around a rice cooker. He doesn't need a microwave since he prefers canned meats on crackers in his room.
Which is optimal?
Diesel has mentioned in a few recent videos about not playing poker because he “had something to do”. He’s said this at least three times.
Can we speculate on this?
Has he maybe gotten a J-O-B?
Maybe he’s advising casino executives on how to make their casinos more profitable?
You may have something there. Because it's ridiculous to not play the last day of the challenge at all. Especially when he could've gotten a better sandwich by playing a half hour.

what an imbecile
You would think he could eat high quality food for just one day, and return to the garbage carbs after the challenge.

A nuked burrito or Hormel chili or beef stew is 5 star eating compared to crackers and sardines w/mayo.
