What chance if they don't win?

Probably 50/50, because state did not have a good season and the ACC wasn’t very good overall. Iowa State or Auburn, if Auburn wins the SECT, are the other two in play, imo. Possibly Marquette if they pull out the win tonight.

Tonight would be a bad loss. State is 69th in NET. They’re the 10th seed. And they’re on their 5th game in 5 days. I expect to win by double digits, but sports are sports.

Marquette will not be winning tonight.

Today was a good day.

Man I did not see that coming from Houston.

Seems like all the snake bitten programs are rounding into March form earlier than expected.

Houston with a loss where their offense completely disappears

Purdue choking away a tight late game situation

Arizona getting put into a slow pace grinder and turning the ball over

Tennessee also just putting up a complete stinker on offense

Agree all around. Also this UK team is strangely like UNC teams over the years. Emphasis on beating you with great O.

The difference is that UNC’s offense was always tops in the country and miles ahead of their defense, but by the time March rolled around their defense had improved and capable of winning it all. This is where it’s just never developed with Kentucky this year. I agree with Chuckles. I don’t want them in our bracket though.

Geez RJ is just an assassin this year.

As abysmal as houston was tonight I don’t see how UNC can possibly get a 1 over them with a loss tonight

We wouldn’t. I don’t think we will be ahead of Hou with a win either. My assumption is Hou, Pur and UConn are locked into the top 3 1s already.

The final 1 is up for grabs between UNC, ISU, Auburn.

at the half

32.6 possessions

NCSU: 1.20 ppp

UNC: 1.23 ppp

MACtion game is lit

MACtion game is lit

...and Kent St dude intentionally fouls up 1 with 5 second left. Yes you read that right. Just brutal for that dude.

Can't help but feel awful for that dude. Whole last 2 minutes of that game was super frenetic but you've gotta know the situation

Not that I expected the big west championship to be the apex of basketball skill but I’m seriously watching a glorified pickup game

state dominates

that said, don't think a Quad 2 loss moves UNC off the top line

guess we'll see tmr night if UNC doesn't make a miracle comeback

The fact that UNC is in contention for a one seed shows how bad the field is this year. There are 3 good teams (really just 1) and everyone else kinda sucks.

I’ve pretty much thought all year that a 1st or 2nd round loss with this squad wouldn’t shock at all. Never thought they were winning it all. But they had potential for a deep run. Cadeau is just not threat in the offensive half court to shoot or score with efficiency. And it’s hit or miss if Ryan and Ingram both have a solid shooting game. Basically if RJ doesn’t light it up with Bacot doing enough, and either of the others 2 are both off (i know this sounds like duh obv) then this team is just average.

Whoever gets NCST in the first round should just press from the jump. This break has been pathetic

Congrats NC State. One of the all time tourney runs which may be beat by temple tomorrow.

Name on the jerseys matters

Most unlikely P5 tournament winner since 08 Georgia?

Lots of bid thieves this year? Feels like we get 1 or 2 most times with the giant conferences.

Only the 2nd team ever to win 5 straight.
