Was just telling a buddy how the second round is way better than the first. The Sweet 16/Elite 8 weekend is typically my favorite though.

It’s by far where the tears flow the hardest. At least chuckles just gets to be a little sad at the first round exit again. Losing in the S16 and on usually has players crying, fans crying, joy on the other side all over the place. Arizona knocking off #1 Kansas in 1997 sums it up

Second round is best but I think they could stagger better

Agreed. I wish they’d start one between the 12:45 and 3:15 games.

Same with tomorrow. One between 12:10 and 2:45 would be nice.

Those games are generally more competitive, and I certainly love those rounds 2.

But R2 has a mostly full all day volume for the weekend, with such a fun chance for the lower level schools. Something like 11 state and 14 Oakland playing for the S16. So entertaining.

GOHLKE

State making some bad mistakes.

by NotReddBoiler k

GOHLKE

you think he'll make an NBA roster?
I do. Even if he has to go undrafted/Summer League/G League route.. he'll make the League eventually and succeed.

Gohlke knows how to navigate the floor.

His form is not good though, but I guess it works lol.

Come on get a stop Oakland

Come on NC state win.

I have no idea who’s going to pull this out.

squeaky bum time at PPG Paints Arena

Oakland buzzer beater incoming.

Everyone talking about state touching the ball forgetting the fact that the Oakland guy still has the ball in his hands.

by Jeremy517 k

Oakland player still has his hand on the ball after it touches the NC State guy

Absolutely this

Gene Steratore the voice of reason here.

Good call by the refs.

And wow.

I deleted it cause I doubted myself, but yeah

REFS

REFS

That was bad

I love Burns lol big fella is a beast

Rocky Top trying to pick up the SEC's slack

at the half

35.4 possessions

Texas: 0.54 ppp

Rocky Top: 0.79 ppp

* 31.1% TO% for Texas

Burns is one of the most enjoyable non-duke players I've ever had the pleasure of watching. Sometimes he's a bull in a China shop and other times he's sooooooo smooth.

Oakland is pure ass. These are some of the worst announcers I've heard.

an NCSU vs UNC title game would be the tits

ACC reigns supreme. Even though I still hate state.

Feel like States run is being undersold
