General TV Discussion and Thread for Shows Without A Thread Thread
OOTV doesnt like family comedies much huh? Raising Hope and The Middle are two of the best(possibly the best outside of NBC)comedies on tv yet no threads.
Just an observation.
There is a countdown on various pages on Amazon website.
Me like 100 times in episode 1
I think they nailed it. I've played all the games and watched like 1000 hours of fallout lore videos so you could say I'm something of an expert myself. Super excited to binge this
Are we supposed to watch the stuff after the credits start, or are those spoilies?
3 eps in to fallout and I'm done. All the storylines are boring. The actors and their characters are super boring outside of goggins and the girl, but again their story line is boring too.
I thought Fallout was great. A bit to light on the present story sometimes, but the characters, worldbuilding and flashbacks were very good imo.
Walton Goggins gets alot to work with and is the obvious stand out, as in any show he's in. Can't wait for S2.
Xmen 97>Fallout
8.5/10 for me on Fallout. Not perfect, but a damn good adaptation. The gore, the overall serious tone with absurd levity, the philosophy of the world, the setting, the costume, the factions... they nailed it.
I thought they left the first season off in a perfect place with so much room to grow. The last episode was probably my favorite of the season. I would assume its basically guaranteed a season 2 already.

They renewed it before the first episode even aired!
Anyone watching Sugar with Colin Farrell on Apple TV? There is supposed to be
So im very intrigued.
I thought the first episode of the 3 currently out was great. Excited for more.
Seen all 3 that have released and am thoroughly enjoying it. I figured there would be something like your spoiler but didn’t think it would be so soon. Glad to know!
Also really enjoying it. Love the genre. Am afraid that

I just finished episode 5, holy.
I can hardly fault a single thing in the show. Every episode at least once is a visual moment where I just hold my breath it's so epic.
watched pilot last night
really don't like how they're handling it
but i did like
however, based on the pilot, it's quite clear no matter how little things of interest happen or how cheesy or bad i gets, like halo, I'm 100% stuck and will be along for the entire ride
Just watch the show.. Almost everything in your spoiler tag is explained in season 1.
I thought Fallout was great TV and Walton Goggins once again elevates the whole show. Also the flashbacks were terrific, can't wait for more. I loved the game back in the day though, so im a bit biased

First 2 episodes of Under The Bridge released today. Good so far. And quite ****ed up.
Fallout is average adaptation I'd say. Not **** not great.
I thought it was pretty great.
Found this silly British sitcom called Mammoth, about a PE teacher in 1979 who gets buried in an avalanche while skiing, and then gets unfrozen in 2024, and then gets his old job back. It's funny. Mike Bubbins, the lead, is hilarious.
Man between Sugar, Ripley, and Fallout, I have a backlog right now. Exciting.
Same. Two seasons of Halo for me too. Sugar's weekly so got another month before I'll think of starting that. Sounds great though.
I do love for all mankind season 1 though.
I wouldn't necessarily prioritize it over something new and undiscovered, but I'd also say I'm pretty sure you would feel it was a decent investment of the time involved. Just don't expect to be completely sucked back in where you find yourself wanting to devour three or four episodes a day.
