Why wouldn't Biden brag about it ? He accomplished what a set of bipartisan senators including Republicans couldn't accomplish - getting that same prosecutor fired for being corrupt. The same prosecutor that leaders from other countries echoed that he should be replaced.

i grew up going to school with children of very powerful people, am good friends with a few kids who's parents are household names
they tend to follow one of three paths that are pretty evenly distributed
1 they choose not to "work" and instead just do what they love and become an artist like a poet or painter, or they found a company that makes flip flops out of recycled tires, perhaps they find success in those fields but the main thing is they are just not about doing anything that isn't their direct passion because they don't need to work
2 follow a typical respectable profession - usually becoming a doctor/lawyer/ngo/think tank/military/etc
3 they go for max value and extract all expected value from their parent's connections and this leads to board seats like Hunter
most powerful families in America have at least one child who pursued route 3, hunter is not even remotely an outlier so i find it silly whenever he's brought up and mentioned as if he were the only one
yes, we should make it illegal for children to trade off their parent's governmental power, we should also make it illegal for people who's roles and responsibilities are things like handing out contracts to Boeing and then magically get offered a 400k a year consulting job from Boeing that takes just a few hours a month once they retire from that government position

The real problems tend to arise when the kid is half a moron with questionable judgment and ethics--that is, when the kid is someone like Hunter.

So I had two huge sliders in the downstairs of my home that had leaks from all the rains we had here in CA. but nevertheless, if you looked at a list of boards of fortune 500 companies, you'll be hard pressed to find a single one that doesn't have the child/spouse/sibling of someone making policy decisions which impact that company - but they sometimes take the more direct route and put the people who helped them out with policy with positions after they leave office
so people in the military and government who are deciding which company to hand out the contract to and negotiating how much it'll cost aren't spending their own money and know 100% that if they make this company happy they'll in turn ensure their golden years are flush with cash
