This hits on something big that I just think many people in this thread are flat out incapable of understanding. The assumption that Jews should necessarily support the actions of Israel is antisemitic. And, also people would have a hard time understanding this, but it's fascist as well. It's natural that those connected would be critical, the same as it's natural for Americans to be focused on American atrocities rather than Chinese or Russian or whatever. It's the fascist impulse that wants to call people traitors who are concerned with things they don't like being done in their names and with their tax dollars and such.

But a place like Israel is going to be awfully tempting to diaspora Jews if the cards fall a certain way. Definitely Europe being the most obvious spot for this outcome.
