Unlike you, I am old enough to remember the 2nd Infintada. If the choice is endless waves of Shaheed suicide bombers or building a wall to stop it, I am pretty sure every country would take the wall 110% of the time.
Actually I remember the 1st intifada better than the 2nd. I was busy with little kids in those days.
tell me more about burning babies alive

Zero chance Israel would agree to any of this
right bc they are genocidal maniacs that will go down in history as some of the biggest criminals ever. and people will write books about how an entire society became so depraved.

And your Mickey Mouse ICC and university faculty, the likes of Cornell West lmao.

Rafah 'bout to take a massive L. Go it alone, Bibi.
Give these mongrel clowns and their rail something to suck on
I still cant break away from the opinion that hamas are the dumbest mouth breathers on planet earth. If its an advanced play and they want this war for some long game strategic play then ill take it back. If they are just resistance fighters that got a little to angry and may have ****ed things up for their people for the greater good, th en even that is understandable i gues
That's interesting, because I find them to be brilliant.
They're ruthless, cruel, bordering on psychopathic in how they'll risk the lives of their civilians. But dumb? I don't see that at all. The outcomes they get vs what they're up against is staggering to me.
The possibility of America cutting all arms trade with Israel is there. I can't exactly say the odds, but better than 1 in 4. In that situation Israel is immediately weakened in the eyes of the other regional enemies. Biden's lack of firmness is supporting his ally here is opening up all kinds of war scenarios. And that's actually the thing being missed by college noobs just getting out because their friends on social told them. They see this is just some black and white conflict. Powerful, powerless = bad, good. But the guys with less power here are BAD GUYS, you can actually have less power and be bad. And the bad guys are very excited for Israel to be isolated and weakened. And that is going to bring much bigger, worse wars. But of course when you're in your tent doing your social media videos, you're not really thinking that far ahead. Is what it is.

There's a university professor who did some interesting polling of his students.
He found most didn't know Hamas governed Gaza. He found a lot of them felt immense pressure to post something pro-Palestinian because their friends did. Like it's the issue of the day, so you have to just jump right in without understanding it. In the vast case most of them have no real sense of the broader issues regionally. It's just powerless brown folks being killed.
So yeah I don't think it's a stretch to assume a lot of 18-19 year olds here are coming at this with incomplete info and a new dynamic of social media pressure to pick a side.
Of course they're ignorant, peer-pressured clowns.
Or, if you're Vic, trolly or micro, they speak as one with authority
Arabs are human beings, but that means they should be held to the standards of other human beings. Excusing and rewarding their worst aspects of Arab culture, while being hypercritical of anything coded "white" or "Jewish" does nobody any favors.
human beings shouldnt be denied food, shelter, and medicine. they shouldnt be burned alive in tents, buried alive in rubble, beheaded, and blown to bits. those are the barest minimums.

Assuming you didn't just make this up: did they compare this with other age cohorts? Do you have any data at all or just vibes? Cause I'm pretty sure no one conforms to peer pressure quicker than Facebook Boomers.
You mean like this?

Given 10 seconds warning - and then the bomb went off 6 seconds later.
Israelis haven't given a 10 second warning.
