1. Maybe some people enjoy vlogging2. Maybe there are marketing reasons, beside direct YT revenue to produce a vlog ?3. Setting up and posting to a vlog helps produce income without active participation by the poker crusher whose "opportunity cost" you seem narrowly focused on.You think winning poker players cannot be bothered or cannot hire help to produce revenue ancillary to

I agree,

Rice has nothing in his life that an average person would consider a pleasure.

He is clearly a masochist who creates a venue for abuse and derision.

by TheAdvantagePlayer m

Tbf the average American is very underdressed when you compare to our international counterparts. At least thats how I felt while traveling and thinking back to how we dress in the states.

The world is conversing on American fashion for better or worse.

A baseball cap is one of the few things that distinguishes Americans overseas.

Planned obsolescence.

Rice doesn't want to play bigger, but the smallest games are getting bigger.

The only thing he can rely on, for now, is free rolls to up his hourly.

1 in a hundred.

Brad Owen
Andrew Neeme
Wolfgang
Ben Deach
Gary Blackwood
Keevin
Lex-O
Xuan
Corey Eyring
Frankie C
Brantzen
Doug McCusker
So Rude Poker
Kyle Fischl
Boski
Jaman

These are all winning vloggers. So that's 16 right there. 1 in a hundred? Are there 1,600 poker vloggers out there?

by angle_shooter m

Rice's ultimate comeback to anyone is calling them miserable. If anyone should actually be miserable it is Rice. The fact he appears not to be only serves as testament to the depths of his self delusion.

So you're 'thaarbitor2003'?

Yet he claims to be annoyed at players who are short stacked. His way of thinking is really strange. He probably played at the Wynn once or twice and didn’t β€œhave fun”. So in his mind EVERY game at the Wynn is zero fun, everyone is miserable and he’ll never go back despite the deeper stacks there.

You're taking it out of context. Majority of your list doesn't come close to the success of Mariano's level. That's the 1/100 referenced.
Otherwise by your premise, anyone with a winning hourly should make the list, like Rice with $14/hour.

That he compares his aspirations in poker to that of Jeff Ogilvy's aspirations in golf is beyond hilarious.Rice just wants to nit it up and grind promos and comps to make what he considers to be risk free money. As long as he can say that he's a professional poker player then he's as happy as can be, earning under minimum wage. He literally can't set the bar any lower in terms

His rambling rant about never playing in the WSOP is ironic. He qualifies for the Employee Event now, which is by far the softest bracelet event in the Series. It's probably no tougher than the Bally's "freeroll", other than the satellite structure. I wouldn't be surprised if he was a favorite to cash.

BTW, what's the over/under on how many times he says "like" in a typical video? 50? Higher?

It isnt humanly possible to be more detached from reality than Rice i suppose? Like it cant right? At last combined with the lifestyle he lives compared to the average person, its mind boogling really. I know several dogs in my nearby streets that eats better than Rice, people in prison too for that matter. Also absolutely hilarious how he prides himself being a pro pokerplayer,

While he was there, he should've taken advantage of all the benefits available to the "unhoused". He could probably live a lot better there than in Vegas. Between cash and gift card like things, I believe you can make almost 2 grand a month. Plus live in a shelter for free. On top of that there are multiple poker rooms that aren't very far away. The weather is much nicer there in the summer compared to Vegas. He should just go homeless there for 4 months out of the year, and then go back to Vegas in the fall.

That is a minimum of 1 day of not working double shifts and making $300 or $400 and paying $500 that he might lose. He will never do it.

Even a mincash is probably $700-ish. Imagine what he could sell the bracelet for. Couple thou, at least?

Plus Mariano and Rampage.

Plus El Diesel

What if Rice pulled a Pman and binked the employee event.

Not sure if Rice is even aware of the fact. I'd give him a pass and make an exception.

Anybody think he could sell his action like the trooper to score a free entry? He could do like 1.5 markup as a meme.

Make it happen bigpoppa!

Can you win a large tournament during WSOP by folding to every raise, never bluffing and having to commute from Arizona bc rooms are too expensive in Vegas?

Health Dept stopped by Trooper's booth and all was good, one of his booth neighbors caught an attitude and got shut down though. lol

I wouldn't consider anyone with a full-time job a true poker vlogger.

I don't know most of them, but how is Rude on the list? He posted twice in the last year.

His last vlog is titled "Getting Absolutely DESTROYED At My Meet Up Game In Kentucky!"

I don't see your f-buddy on the list.

Most of the followers in this thread are here because of antics by people we would never meet in real life, and they cannot believe anyone actually supports their self-damaging behavior.

I am guessing neither you nor he has ever met a successful vlogger.

I hope to be at the WSOP this year, and if he stays in town, I will blow a kiss Rice on your behalf.

Frequently, the measure of success is what you don't have to do as opposed to what you have to do.

I don't have to sneak a salami sandwich down my pants, but I do have to tell my girlfriend to tone down the lingerie.

Rude is a losing rec player.

Stop it Ron. This thread is for vloggers, not candy salespeople.

I watched his #12 at the doghouse and was surprised by him freaking out about the set < flush hand. on a 9 high board with a nut flush draw, that is a jam almost every time. the player with the draw jammed, not called. Valdez had a set on the flop. guess what, top set is not the nuts. it's the lead with two cards to go but there are 8 outs twice to the literal nuts. flushes bea

Yeah I guess but I think overall it's def. A great vlog. To take something like that and dismiss it as something you wouldn't watch I think is more of a personality clash imo.

That's what I'm sayin. He reads this forum so I'm sure he'll find out about it.

The outdoor candy sales can't go on much longer with this heat.
