Former Main Event champions getting free entry seems like a recipe for (soft) collusion where they just play worse than they would otherwise against certain opponents knowing that their opponent is freerolling for a massive bounty.

lmao people come up with the wildest stuff to complain and find problems in everything

Maybe dumb question, does anyone know whether caesars 7 star companion card holder can use the 7 star line to register?

Yes, of course.

QUESTION. Do former Main Event Champions get a free entry?

Also, how may former Main Event Champions do you think will enter the field?

If they get free entry will it be over 15 Former ME champs in field/

So is the answer yes? Former ME Champs get free entry into Event #1

They should be able to like 98% but can't confirm officially.

7 STARS have a special line in the VIP cage area as I recall. But even as just a Diamond I never waited more 15 minutes max and that was 1 time. Typical wait to buy an entry using my TBIC funds at the window was no more than 5 minutes.

Has anyone actually confirmed that you can buy in with a credit card with no fee?

Don't arrive for 2 1/2 more weeks but the excitement is high. Good luck to yall.

Unless I run into you at a table.

Btw do main event satties run WSOP wide? If so, would I be able to sell my seat pretty easily if I snagged one? Thanks

Nick, I have no idea. But this seems unlikely. WSOP would get eaten alive by fees

Will Mystery Bounty use new payout structure?

Cool. I'm assuming you're sharing that to provide a service for people in this thread. Thus, I'll go one step further... here is the actual photo (instead of a screen shot of Kevmath having Tweeted a photo):

I like the look of a couple of those dudes. Looks like poker is alive and well.

Women's poker on the other hand... not so much.

Are you telling me someone like Jamie Gold wouldnt be perfectly willing to do something like that for an easy buck? Not my fault people are willing to cheat to get money if there is a way. Im not complaining just stating a fact.

There's the big guy that's trying to look like a biker with his black vest, wearing sunglasses and all black with half his belly hanging out the bottom of his shirt. He's the quintessential poster child of mid '00s poker for sure.

Yea lol. How at his age does he look himself in the mirror before leaving home and say “yep, I’m good to go” lol.

Will Mystery Bounty use new payout structure?

First place will be $1 million in the mystery bounty. The other places will be based on the new payouts. But in a bounty event, the min-cash will not be 2x because $300 of $1000 entry goes towards the bounty. So min-cash will be around $1318 instead of $2,000. You can see payouts here... https://www.wsop.com/2024/payoutcalculat...

why would jamie gold dust off his stack to a buddy for anything less than a full buyin? and to do that he travels to vegas, hoping he draws the same table as someone he knows who wants to pay for his stack? instead of playing himself? makes a lot of sense

How is this different from any other bounty tournament?

Good luck to everyone playing this year!

Soft Play and Collusion? You do know that there's $400K up top, eh? If they even considered such a thing then they can't pull it off unless they get on the same table. From what I saw in DNegs Vlog he changed tables at least 4 times.

First event of the year and the thread goes dark .. GL

Have WSOP cash games started? I assume so and bravo just not hooked up?

I asked around, seems that they may not be using bravo for cash at all....
