Who would you like to see in HCL Million Dollar Cash Game

Some time ago HCL announced that they will be streaming a cash game with minium buy-in of million dollars.

Who would you like to see playing in it?

My list:

1. Rick Salomon

Absolutely fearless, plays fast and loose and puts people in tough spots all the time. Has good feel for the live game.

2. Andrew Robl

Nice to have some super pro also in the mix. Robl is entertaining and fearless.

3. Alan Keating

Well, Keating is Keating. Guaranteed action.

4. Hanz

That huge bluff against Keating earned Hanz a spot in my line up.

5. Eric Persson

I don’t like his antics that much but Eric creates a very unpredictable dynamic to the table. He can throw players off their game or just punt his stack in one hand.

6. Nik Airball

It’s good to have few villains in the table also. Loose and aggressive, can win or lose big. I don’t know how much he would play his villain image in this group though.

7. Tony G drunk

I just remember one Triton cash game from Montenegro when Tony G was hammered and he was just super funny and loosy goosy. If he is sober, he just is fasting and nitting it up drinking his bone broth.

8. Rui Cao

Action, action, action. Funny guy and brings good energy to the game.

9. JRB drunk

JRB is not a good player and his poker is not that interesting but he is funny and can keep the atmosphere in the table. Player like this is also needed.

(10.) Garret Addelstein

I have mixed feelings about Garret. He is a legend but I feel too much focus would go on the Robbi drama so I would leave him out from this one.

I was surprised to see Peter raise. All the moving around and body language screamed "I don't know if I should call or fold"

Then again that might be normal for him I really haven't watched him play before.

Hook folded to a x/r after betting $160k. missed the action due to grinding. someone else fill in the blanks!

Truly insane bluff by Texas Mike. For Doyle!

Texas Mike is clearly playing the best out of everyone at the table (and will be playing tomorrow as well, this just in). Steve and Hook playing the worst.

above results does not include:

Action Dan bets into the absolute nuts.

durrrr reloads (with a smile on his face because it's not his money) for the minimum amount allowed after being stacked by Peter, who has won all 3 1mm+ pots. ATxT 3-way flop xback. Hook (PFA lol) donks AK on the turn and gets raised by Peter and durrrr goes AI.

Texas Mike VPIPing 65%! running good and playing great.

Dwan down $1 million

anyone know what Hook's online names have been throughout the years? apparently he's played a bunch.

hook2120 on Stars.

hook2120 on Stars.

thanks.

Handz folds. one King and one Ace was dead. Handz zigs when he should have zagged as usual :/

Handz is just forever in the worst spots. Its incredible how he continuously finds himself on the wrong end of them.

thanks.

Handz folds.

Had to dig up these old hands to remember his name. A different era, to say the least...

I have J2o.....

This has been a great stream. Texas Mike is my new hero. He has a couple WSOP bracelets and plays in high roller mixed game tournaments. Clearly knows what he is doing. Action as hell. I bet he gets invited to some interesting private games thanks to his appearances on Hustler.

Also Steve with his 1% pot donk river bet. Love it.

I think he is also the same guy who won a bracelet in some game he didn’t know how to play last year and then used the $150k or whatever he won to buy into the $25/50/100ks and ended up winning like $600k or something.

anyone know what Peter's real name is? dude doesn't speak a lick of English, so obviously his name isn't Peter.

day 1 summary:

duration: about 8h 15m

Texas Mike is on another level - very fun to watch battle

Overall results

Doug Polk scheduled to play for Day 2 in a similar lineup as Day 1

Why fold there if you have chance to play a 2 mill dollar pot? Pretty sure handz can afford it (crypto guy).

This might be first time we've seen Dwan get crushed on live TV. Probably happens a lot in private games.

Folding QQ pre to a 500bb or 1000bb shove depending on the straddle seems very reasonable - especially with his seat in the game

Dwan making trips vs the "fun player" and losing a bunch both spots were interesting hands. Would love to hear his thought process on the spots

For a cash game its very rare to see him lose but saying he got crushed from losing half a buyin isn't very accurate.

Mike playing the way he did at the stakes hes at puts him in legend status. The second half of the stream was some of the most fun poker Ive watched.

They gotta let us hear the players, the fact that the table is talking about something I can here some bs offscreen better means they are entirely ****ing up. let the table talk ffs were watching it for these players not back round *******s yelling at hustler. HSP did the same thing and if we can't feel like were at the table you might as well just post hand histories.

i was multi-tabling PLO at the time and still took time to provide updates ITT. i posted more than most would have (or did).

Hook bought in for 1.25mm, Dwan 1.5mm everyone else 1mm.

you are very welcome for my efforts. i'll be doing the same tonight since you're so appreciative! aside from a positive attitude, what will you be contributing to the thread?

interesting to see that the results Joey posted don't align with the official results.

interesting to see that the results Joey posted don't align with the official results.

They match if you compare the HCL end of stream 'Cumulative Winnings' instead of the 'Chip Counts' image that you posted.
