I believe event #10 had a final number of entries of 197, the 171 number was by the end of day 1. And additional 26 entries in the first level of day 2 increased the final tally to 197.

Likewise registration is still open for the first level of day 2 in event #13.

Thanks, good catches! On #10, it's weird that the WSOP website still has the outdated number in the main information section for the tournament, but I see where it says 197 at the end of the Day 2 updates.

Top ten in chips after day 1 of the $10K dealer's choice includes Ivey, Schulman, Robert Mizrachi, Dan Zack, and Lindgren. With PokerGo scheduled to stream the final table of a $1.5K NLHE event tomorrow, I hope they'll come to their senses and show the dealer's choice instead, if it still has the murderer's row at the top.

It's probably a bit more complicated for the RFID program to just push a button on whatever game they are playing.

True. But they've streamed and are scheduled to again this year the Poker Player's Championship. So the technology is there.

But they only stream the final table, and the players championship plays only NLHE on the final table, correct?

Wasnt that in the first year or two of that tournament only, circa 2007 kinda time.

They streamed Day 3 and Day 4 as well as the FT of the PPC last year, it's my favourite tournament to watch so hopefully same again this year (and the FT isn't just NLHE thankfully)

If you're over 30 and smoke or vape you're either really weak or really stupid.

On the plus side, endless 8 or 9 hour sessions nursing a buzz all day...

Vaping/Smoking = "really weak and really stupid"

Alcoholism = the strong genius' way to get through the day!

Un-****ing-believable.

Congrats on being a willingly propagandized rube for the Coors Brewing Company or whomever else from whom you get your 250% marked-up liquor.

(and yes, you qualify as an alcoholic if you're "nursing a buzz all day" for multiple days; you don't have to black out to be an alcoholic)

Is there a PokerGo thread on some TV/stream forum here?

I couldn't see one a few days ago...

Anyway... I'm confused, the advert to get me to buy PokerGo for a year said this: "NEVER MISS A MOMENT"

I got that advert three or four times. The capitalisation was there's.

I would read that to me, at least - all final tables are covered. But I just checked their schedule - and like previous years it looks like with PokerGo you WILL MISS MANY MOMENTS.

I was looking forward to a Dealers Choice FT - that may have one or two Phil's or a DNegs... but it seems that won't be shown. Oh, well - at least that means I don't need to pay for the sub.

It's one thing - to miss loads of exciting FTs. It's another to take the P and run with a tag line like 'Never Miss a Moment'... and it's rubbing our faces in it to have the letters all capitalised. Ok... rant over.

“Never Miss a Moment” is a lot catchier than “Miss Several Moments but Every Now and Then You’ll See a Moment if it Fits Our Predetermined Schedule so Please Pay Us.”

"Never miss a moment of our selective programming"

even that isn't true, didn't they completely pull a stream right in the middle of it the other day?

End of Day 2 in $10K Dealers Choice. Big names as usual. Robert Mizrachi leads. Bach, Lamb, Ivey, and Negreanu in final 11.

just watching mystery millions on catchup as im the UK. The chip counts seemed consistently off. It would cut away for 20 seconds and the chip numbers had changed without a hand being played, very confusing.

That being said, glad the Aussie kid won

No, when it left ESPN prime time the game rotation format came back to the final table.

They should fix how they start tournaments

Yeah it’s definitely getting annoying how many people late reg and how the tournaments plan for it by making the majority of tables start 4-5 handed, or worse.

Long late reg sucks, but it makes more money for the house, so...

Not a fan of the late reg or the reg on day 2 nonsense.

So the technology is there.

Sort of. With the PPC, the game in question (and thus, the configuration of the hole card system) is preset. With Dealer's Choice, the game changes much more frequently, and the choice of game isn't known until a literal moment's notice.

6 players left in $10K Dealers Choice, including Bach, R. Mizrachi, and Lamb.

Only if it was Dnegs and Ivey still in it would they have shown it probably.

Nah, they won't change their schedule that way, not even if it was Doyle and Stu Ungar. That $10K Dealers Choice is always going to have big names at the final table.

Are they saying Kessler registered for the tournament and was assigned a seat at this table, but was refusing to give his ticket to the dealer? This is a pretty egregious angle shoot and should be penalized. Once you are assigned a seat, you need to take the seat as soon as possible; you shouldn’t be allowed to scout out your table and wait for the ideal time to sit down.

if that is an "egregious angle shoot" i'm keen to see regular angle shoot

If they can't show hole cards they aren't showing it

If I'm in Main Event and I'm a fish and come to my starting table with Ivey, Dnegs and Hellmuth sitting down and decide to wait for others to arrive before I sit is that an angle shoot?
