Today in what might be the most fun tournament, the Omaha mix, you have Hellmuth 6th and Deeb 13th and it's the last day with just 22 remaining
And PokerGo is taking the day off.

until yesterday they said they were gonna start at a record early time 3PM CST for the 100K event

this would be one of their biggest viewership days outside of the main,
everyone loves to watch those two guys, especially so deep in a high variance game

But they cant be bothered to cover any of it.

I'm leaving for Vegas tomorrow for two weeks, at least PokerGo cant ruin the in-person viewing.

I swear if Hellmuth and Deeb make the final table and they dont stream it
it would be a crime against poker and a slap in the face to those who paid.

Certainties in life: Death, taxes, and BSumner’s daily public rant against PokerGo.

Wait what happened ? All day yesterday during coverage of the NL Holdem/PL Omaha event they were talking about covering that event? They kept updating throughout on the chip position of hellmuth and deeb.

Now they're canceling it!? I was excited to watch that event even w/o hellmuth. Add in hellmuth and it should be must see poker.

I bet their graphics can't handle the change from limit omaha hi lo to PLO8 to 5 card O8. They were having trouble showing the players whole cards yesterday during the bomb pots.

While I'm on your side about potentially missing out on an Omaha mix FT with Hellmuth and Deeb, the time changes are part of the reality of covering a live event that doesn't operate on a time schedule. Yesterday's coverage of the $10K stud championship didn't end until nearly 4 a.m. here on the East coast. It's a reminder that final table coverage can sometimes go much, much later than anticipated, and that the start of final table coverage can, too.

I dont often place bets on something other than poker, golf, or baccarat. When I do, I prefer to to use the exchanges. Much to my dismay, nearly spoiling my morning, octopi poker is not listed on the nyse or the lse as a common or preffered stock or any other wagering instrument. I was momentarily under the delusion I had a winner. :(

well if you've been watching poker streaming since 2009 and on then you would know why hes complaining, read what i wrote

also they upped the price from 15$ to 20$ month

Most of us consume the WSOP through the PokerGo prism, so it is natural for posts in this thread to mention PokerGo (positive or negative).

However, incessant criticism of PokerGo makes this thread much worse. After all this thread is NVG's central thread about the WSOP and its focus should remain the poker.

I would pay for Pokergo subscription on YouTube but it is 20$ a month, pokergo.com 99$ per year but I have it interface and prefer YouTube one. I wish they would combine YouTube Poker go Chanel and Pokergo.com subscriptions?
Also Pokergo.com is blocked at lots of workplaces and YouTube is not. So I am not able to have it on while at work.

Most of us have as much to say about PokerGo as BSumner, but we let him act as our representative. At least one person should be allowed to make a negative post about them every single day on everyone’s behalf.

And it should stay in this thread where everyone can see it.

I noticed that for the first time with some HBO Max content that was on YouTube. I just assumed my Max account would make the video viewable. But no, the only way for me to watch is to a) switch to Max (which I did), or b) pay an even higher monthly via YouTube. Seems like it could be integrated better.

In fact, it strikes me as something both sides should want. YouTube can get viewers to watch content from other streaming services (like PokerGo or Max) without leaving the platform. Meanwhile, the other streaming services tap into YouTube's massive viewer base.

Fortunately, PokerGo isn't blocked where I work even though plenty of sites are. But yeah, even if your employer doesn't block the site, many businesses with guest wi-fi might. One of the fast food chains (can't remember which) won't let you visit any site with the word poker in the title, for example.

EDIT: Oops, forgot the real reason I came to this thread. Did anyone see the video of some Karen losing it on the floor? Negreanu mentioned it in his vlog. Looked like a crazy situation, wondering if there were any details that came of it.

As I understand it this is a function of dealers handling unfamiliar thicker RFID cards.

Maybe this video is longer than what you saw.

Richard Gere hasn't aged well

The nerve of them to mention and retweet this, unless they are actually going to air it if Hellmuth squeaks in.

Excited for everyone to rage over PokerGO not covering this event only for Hellmuth to bubble in 10th, leaving an FT of 9 random guys who nobody wants to watch.

That being said, I like the idea of PokerGO having a daily stream with a central desk and mobile cameras that allow them to seamlessly adjust coverage based on which tournaments are shaping up to be most interesting vs. being locked into a specific schedule that's decided ahead of time.

This type of thing is going to be perennial headache for them with the way things are run now.

Phil is in the top 9, do they play that for final table or down to 6?

It is listed as an 8 handed event so the final table will be at 8 players.

Apparently, they are going to show it, it's on the home page with a count down of 1.5 hours. Not showing in schedule yet.

Always surprising when pros that have been around for decades don't know some of the more basic/common floor calls and rules.

Now they changed it to 8pm PST. I guess after dinner break.

I also think it's a good rule

Lol now we’re watching a mixed omaha event and poker go doesn’t tell you which game is being played. Can’t wait for the PPC when you don’t know if it’s Stud, stud8, or razz

I had thought in the past there was a seperate PokerGo thread from the main WSOP thread.

There was in the past, nobody posts there anymore.

A new thread could be started for 2024 WSOP PokerGo streaming if the mods want.

I also think it's a good rule

like most people said whatever helps protect collusion is why they do rulings like this
